Location: Greater Seattle Area
Vehicle: ‘27 Telluride Hybrid SX X-Line
A solid deal, but can I do better?
Call an airstrike on the dealership
Not super familiar with the Seattle market, but this deal isn’t great. I’d check out other options that lease better. Zooming out on everything, $800 effective for a $57k Kia is just dumb IMO.
I’m not aware of any 3 row SUVs that lease better and that are as nice/luxurious as the Telluride. If you are, please do share!
seattle market is always as competitive as it gets , at least for this car. Before getting the deal shared above, other dealers in the area were refusing to go below MSRP. Again, not unusual for this area
Yeah I hear you. 3 row leasing market can be tricky. And I do get it, the new Telluride I’ve heard is very nice. Have you looked into a Palisade though? I’ll need to check the programs but seems like they might lease better, depending on trim.
(broker palisade deal in CA, might make sense to ship if Seattle market is that bad)
Dislike the Palisade look though I recognize it’s effectively the same car. Would be surprised if the Palisade or any other near fully loaded 3 row suv can get to sub $700 monthly payments. But then again, that’s why I’m here asking !
There are Palisades deals for a similar MSRP model that would only possibly be slightly cheaper, once mileage adjustment, broker fee, shipping are taken into account. Prob not worth it, if you really like the Telluride.
Those deals are for 24 mos. Kia has diff programs, but is there a huge RV drop from 24 to 36 mos? Might be worth checking.
As of June it was the Pathfinder Platinum and QX60. The PF leased a LOT better than the Telly.
If OP is open to EVs, throw the EV9/Ioniq 9 in the mix. Not unicorn leases by any means, but doesn’t take a unicorn discount to top this.
Just curious. How often do you use the 3rd row for passengers? What do you drive now?
I drive a ‘24 Telluride lol next to never use the third row. It’s more for cargo space. Got two young kids in car seats in the captains chairs and occasionally my 50 lb dog in the back , plus luggage, ski gear, etc
Are you keeping your current Telluride?
Nope I’m at lease end
If you are open to other brands take a look at the Subaru Ascent in the limited or touring trim.
