Nope, i didnt sign yet… still looking around
What you have to learn here is people are happier when they are driving cars they hate for a price they love.
I will give you credit at least you came here asking for help before signing!
Then get a E53 AMG. It is not a V8, but it has a 6 cylinder engine producing 577 HP with 553 lb-ft of torque
If you really want a V8, then pony up and go for a S63 AMG. It produces 791 HP with 1055 lb-ft of torque.
It’s red and doesn’t have second row automated sun shades on the windows.
We need to get Markus to give up on his fuel efficient dreams and get a GLS63.
The E53E should be in the $1,200 a month ballpark easy.
The S63E performance is… much more haha.
There’s a AMG GT 63 S E Performance 4MATIC Plus 4Door Coupe as well that kind of slots in the middle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LcfdYYjZwzs
They can also get a 2023 E63
How much did MBUX change between 2023 and 2024 and how important is that to the OP vs having a V8?
That sounds on the money. My build is right around $119K and lease is going to be right under $1300 with $0 das
I cannot wait till May to show up. Actually more excited than the porsche lol
You’re going to be super pissed when a E63E comes out with a V8…
It’s okay. My uncle got a S63 and he won’t keep it long. I will lowball him like I did on bentley lol
This should be the leasehackr motto.
It’s currently “America’s Smartest Car Shopping Hub”. which is just plain wrong. “Smart”???
#familycomesfirst
What about the 2025 AMG CLE 53? The car is beautiful and powerful.
Markus just needs a v8.
Full details of the new engine remain under wraps, though it is said to be based on AMG’s existing twin-turbocharged 4.0L V-8 architecture. The switch to a flat-plane crankshaft promises sharper throttle response but sacrifices the deep, burbling soundtrack traditionally associated with AMG’s V-8s, including the current M178 unit.
This layout enables a more compact crankcase design, allowing AMG to fit the new engine into models not originally engineered for a V-8, such as the fifth-generation C-Class. It also allows for a higher redline and ignition cut-off.
The flat-plane design is expected to give AMG’s new engine a different firing order than the cross-plane M178 unit, and it may also incorporate a smaller compressor wheel. In its ultimate form, it’s also set to feature a mild-hybrid system with an integrated starter generator within the transmission, boosting power and efficiency, according to sources privy to its specification.
Mercedes-AMG denies widespread rumors that the new V-8 could be fitted to the C63 as a replacement for its 4-cyl. plug-in hybrid drivetrain when questioned by Wards Auto.To counter the higher-pitched, more aggressive tone of the flat-plane crank engine, AMG plans to equip future models with an artificial sound generator to recreate the signature burble of its most celebrated V-8s.
Well, since you linked that AMG EQS deal from January, two non V-8 questions:
1 - there was a loaner AMG EQS in WA fairly recently (very few out there in the wild). Have you tried to replicate that deal if it’s still available?
2 - have you considered an I5 M60? You can have it for under $900 effective and I think it’s a lot more of a car than C63 and far more comfortable as a DD. Free charging too if you have access to EA.
Nooooooooo Markus don’t go to the Dark Side
Stick with this. @IAC_Nick is here to keep you on the good path.
I need 4 door car, family bro!
not yet fan of EVs so maybe will go if no other options in future…
same with BMW i5 m60, dont like its design for some reason latest BMW design didnt grow on me…
only maybe bmw x5 m60i black on black would be cool…
haha, lol im still trying to keep my head sane with all those options
I think you should put your fate into the hands of LH. Please vote everyone.
This car is available within spitting distance of Markus. 2021 with 800 miles for some oddball reason. Please don’t look at the interior. Blazers license plate is a nice touch.
Should he get it?
- Hell yeah get the E63 wagon, coolest family car ever
- Get a 2024 C63 E because the lease may be cheaper
- Get a Honda minivan on a low APR loan for low TCO
Haha wow $148k for a three year old E63S wagon is a choice alright. But man it’s such a cool car.
My vote is look for a GLE63 lease.
