Hard pass ….
Have you checked Marketplace and Share Deals & Tips for comps?
Way too much. Contact some brokers.
Nope. Don’t put money down and get them to remove the crap they added or go to a dealer who won’t add stuff.
There have been some good deals posted on q8 etron premium pluses. Like under 750 a month.
@IAC may be able to help you on an Audi in TX
A couple of factors going against you right off the bat:
As far as the deal itself, let me try and break it down.
You need to confirm on the Edmunds Forum whether this is the base MF.
You should ask the dealer to separate out the dealer discount from the Audi rebates. Everyone qualifies for the $7500 EV rebate + $5000 National Customer Audi rebate. That’s a total of $12,500, assuming you do not qualify for Costco. So using these numbers, your actual dealer discount is only ($19,000 - $12,500) $6,500 or about 7.25% off MSRP.
The dealer add-ons (Complete theft + PermaPlate) add up to $1,158. I guess since you are in TX, you need that window tint. To be honest, I would move on from this dealer. You should be aiming for at least 10% off MSRP + base MF + all rebates you qualify for.
In case you missed it, OP is looking at the Prestige trim and not the Premium Plus. As for the deals you saw at $750/month, I am pretty sure the mileage terms and incentives were not the same as OP’s.
That seems high
Ah also using Costco benefit which dealer said was in the deal. I posted in edmunds so far that MF unfortunately looks correct but waiting to confirm.
And not sure where the sales tax went on their last sheet. It should be ALOT more than that in TX.
Trying been hard to get responses. One bigger local one apparently doesnt do EVs atm.
Then this deal is even worse than I thought. No need to engage any further with this dealer.
EDIT: Accounting for the $1500 Costco incentive, your adjusted dealer discount is really ($19,000 - $14,000) $5,000 or about 5.5% off MSRP.
There’s obviously a sales tax credit they are applying to the deal.
Also, are you proposing a deal to the dealer or asking, “what do the numbers look like on this?” The latter is not the way to approach it. You need to calculate your target deal in the calculator and email/text/call dealer with those figures and tell them you will sign today if they do your deal.
.00235 MF and 50% residual
$12,500 lease cash
$300 dealer cash
info from edmunds just now. what would be a fair offer if needing 15k miles or does the mileage requirement make this a bad deal in general. I could finance but with EVs and how quickly they improve was thinking lease would be safer?
There you go.
Thanks, do I have my numbers correct in the calculator for a proposed deal?
not sure if the incentives, costco deal are taxed or untaxed.
I believe this would be your calculator. I think when Audi has tax credits you pay 1.25% sales tax. If I’m wrong someone correct me. I couldn’t get it to divide out correctly from the deal sheet. This would be with inception fees/first month/tax DAS
The numbers in the pic you posted look atrocious. dont do it. maybe look to other dealers or wait for end of Q4 sales - even look at shipping it from somewhere else if all dealers in your area are this bad
Yes I realize that these are two different trims. I haven’t delved into the numbers but is the prestige trim really worth $400-500 more a month based on what others were getting on the lower trim and what OP is being offered on the higher trim? That’s the point of my post.
More like $200 - $300 more per month, but only OP can answer that.
Went with iX instead.
