, , ,

Looking for feedback on a Sierra EV lease deal before moving forward.

Vehicle:

  • 2026 GMC Sierra EV Crew Cab

  • Courtesy/demo vehicle

  • 2,174 miles

  • MSRP: $65,405

Lease Terms

  • 24 months / 12k miles

  • $445/mo incl tax

  • $1,000 DAS (using GM card earnings)

  • Michigan

  • GM employee pricing applied

Numbers from worksheet

  • Selling price: $56,500

  • Rebate/incentives: $7,450

  • Residual: 70% $45,348.70

  • MF: .00258

  • Doc fee: $280

  • Registration/title/license: ~$304 total

A few questions:

  1. Does this look like a strong deal overall for a Sierra Ev

  2. Is the $8.9k spread from MSRP to selling price good?

  3. Anything missing from this worksheet I should ask for before signing?

  4. Any leverage points you’d use to negotiate this further? I was hoping to be at $400 mo

  • My first time signing a lease deal so any info would be helpful.

Yup. The Cap Reduction sales tax is not accurate. It appears that your sales tax rate is 6.00%. The total cap reduction is 6866 + 77.51 = 6943.51. Therefore, CCR tax should be 6.00% x 6943.51 = 416.61, not 451.65. What they did was taxed the entire 7450 incentive plus the additional 77.51 CCR to get 451.65. … 584 of the 7450 was used to pay the capped fees leaving 6866 to cover the CCR. Long story short, tax on the balance (584) was already captured via tax levied on the monthly base payment. So, you’re being taxed twice on the 584.

??? Let me know.
