Coming in at around 18% off MSRP which seems like a great deal, but wanted some other opinions before moving forward. Thanks!

MSRP= $77,480
Dealer Discounts $8,384 (Price of vehicle + + My Incentives $3500 = $11,884
My price (taxes and fees) = $65,596

MF = .00006
Demo with 1000 miles
PA has 9% lease tax

Residual = 60% ($43,853.68)
12k Miles per year
39m $636
$640 due at signing

First lease so no loyalty

I believe the 18% includes the incentives, your goal should be something like 10% before incentives. How many dealers have you shopped? You should be proposing 10% off before incentives and buy rate on the MF and be willing to sign with whoever others that.

I adjusted the numbers above

I have shopped it around to a good bit of dealers and no one has beat it for the model of a truck.

There are 5 rams - 2 Laramie’s & 3 big horns within a 2 hours of me. I explored delivery but was high

Is this a very highly optioned car? I’m not familiar with Rams and looked up the MSRP of Lamaries. $77K MSRP seems very high.

Here is the window sticker

Last I checked the 39mo RV was a 2% hit against the 36mo RV and the payment worked out to be close. I would go for the 3 less months of wear and tear + potential out of warranty exposure (especially as a demo). Otherwise, I think it’s a good deal because of the extra ctp & unsold lead incentive (these are hard to find). Not unicorn status, but you want a very specific optioned trim. I have it as a 7.6% dealer discount.

Good call, I missed that edit. Just removed it as I have the numbers there anyways.

Thanks for breaking that all down! I thought it was a good deal as well, I can say it’s the best I have gotten in the last 6 months. I came in around the same percentage for the discount.

I asked for the 36m. Payment went up $37 if I switched it. You saying should have stayed the same?

From ratefindr:

  • 36mo 12k miles 59% RV MF 0.00014
  • 39mo 12k miles 57% RV MF 0.00006

Interesting, 36 has higher RV but higher MF.
Based on my calculator; 36mo should be around $17/mo more than 39mo.
Based on my negotiations with a dealer on a lower MSRP unit it was $11/mo difference.

Sorry wrong vehicle program

You mentioned Pittsburgh. If you live in Allegheny county is 10% tax on leases.. Sorry if I missed it, but where is the link to your target deal? This will make giving feedback much easier.

Where were you quoting deliver from? What do you consider high?
