Deal check: 2026 Mercedes CLE53 lease

Time to get a C63 from a LH broker

Yeah I haven’t had much success with good deals on CLE53 or C63 leases either (not that I’d want that the C63 in its current state with that 4 cyl).

Waiting around to see what the next C63 has, supposedly it’s gonna be the C53 and have an i6.

The dealer does not set the RV. That is set by the lender. If they are showing you 2 different residual values they must not be the same year, make, and model of vehicle. Something is off there.

Who would want the i4 c63 lol

It’s crazy fast from what I’ve heard but very soulless. NGL I would lease one but only for an insane deal which you aren’t gonna get because Mercedes AMG leases are all mostly terrible.

I don’t think it’s possible to get lower than a $1000/mo payment on one and at that price point you have so many other options.

it’s weird cuz on edmunds they say 25’ have the same RV (36/10 for 53%).

Agreed. Not interested in the C63. C53 maybe, if it was available. My soul wasn’t totally into the CLE because the interior is a downgrade from the E53 Coupe. I also test drove it again and realize how much smaller the backseat is than the E53.

I stand corrected. That is tempting. I gotta test drive one.

I’m really just holding out for a v8 c AMG whether that’s the cle or c63 or whatever they turn those into. Cmon Mercedes…

I think the reason why there were two different RVs is because of the Prepaid maintenance. However, one dealer still had it at 53% even with the PPM. The other had two different RVs depending on PPM or not.

Damn they just got 6 brand new 25 c63s. Isn’t 27MY coming out in the summer?

$500 monthly 4-banger C63 once that V8 is dropped.

That’s what I was hoping for, lmao.

this is a way better deal/value than the CLE deals you’re being offered

and a nicer car too

CLE is a C class interior with an E class price tag

Oh wow. Looks great.

I think Audi is the only brand that gives you a residual bump for pre paid maintenance. If I’m wrong someone please chime in.

That’s also my understanding.

However, MB does (or did?) ā€œresidualizeā€ the PPM: Residual on Mercedes Prepaid Maintenance - #6 by leaser2019

Assuming the above is correct, that still shouldn’t result in the RV expressed as a percentage changing.

Yes, that is still the case today.

Pre-paid maintenance can be residualized on new vehicles only (not including ex-CVP). Would be at the same residual value as the vehicle from my understanding, offering significant savings.

What does ā€œCVPā€ stand for (I know it means demo/loaners from your thread)?

So your understanding is that the formula in the previous thread is correct? (PPM residualized as (MSRP + PPM)*%RV = new RV)?

Apologies! Yes, that is exactly what it is.

Yes, just confirmed with one of my dealers that is the formula they use. Also, as mentioned in that thread it is not uncommon for dealers to add their own markup to PPM.

Yeah, fart cars: Courtesy Vehicle Program or Common Venereal Problems if you ask @holeydonut or some brokers completely shying away from those.
