2026 Ford Bronco Sport Heritage
Robin’s Egg Blue
36 months / 10,500 miles
Long Island NY

MSRP: $39,725
Selling price: $37,469
Ford Credit APR shown: 4.96% (~0.00207 MF)
Approx. RV not disclosed
$614 due at signing (1st payment + registration)
Taxes and acquisition rolled into payment
Payment approx. $614/month
$500 rebate eligible

Dealer discount appears strong but MF may be marked up over current Ford buy-rate (~0.00153). Curious whether this looks competitive for current NY market.

Please don’t pay $614 for a Bronco.

What would be reasonable?

Look at Wranglers if you want to lease.

I have had three wranglers. They have each had recalls. One lead to needing a new engine and returning the car as a lemon. Another was hybrid and has had multiple recalls for the battery. Both of which where potentially life threatening. This mad me reluctant to lease one again. It seems that the bronco sport has better lease deals compared to the bronco.

Well this deal looks beyond horrible. Buy it with a better discount if you are dead set on a Bronco Sport. As of now you will be paying $22-23k to lease a $40k car.

Have you seen any better offers? I am am paying nothing down, rolling in the NY taxes into the monthly payments and will get the price down to $599 with a $500 rebate. The APR for the lease is inflated to 4.96% from the Ford rate of 3.67%. Does this still seem like a bad lease?

I haven’t seen a better offer but that doesn’t mean you should pay $600 for a Bronco Sport. I would look at other cars if I were you.

Thank you.

Rate Findr shows the buy rate is 3.66% (~.00152 MF). The rate markup adds about $1,400, erasing the dealer discount to under a grand.

You can definitely get a better discount. Consider looking outside the state to expand your search radius or reaching out to brokers for them to do the legwork.

Are you looking at 2025 inventory as well? MF is better at .00083 and residual is only 1% lower.

I would look for a 2025 “Courtesy Vehicle”. They can have up to $2500 in retail bonus cash and it’s not hard to find a 10% discount. Here is a good example:

It still may work out cheaper for you to finance versus lease, but the net pricing is better on 25’s.

Not the same trim but if you are flexible try to replicate this.

I was just about to post this to the “Leads” thread, but there’s a dealer in Central FL with some decent discounts on demo Bronco Sports. I was going to contact them today/tomorrow, but we scored this afternoon closer to home. That being said, I don’t know exactly all their fees and such. I’ll DM you a link to this specific dealer/car, but here’s a rough calculator based on what I could find of their numbers (MSRP, a tad under their listed discount, fees, and taxes for FL - change those).

As others have mentioned, aim for a '25 as RV is close, MF is half of a '26, there’s already $1000 lease incentive, Ford’s doing A-Plan pricing, and if they’re trying to clear the lot, they may drop pricing much lower. And so you’re aware, you’re losing 2% RV by moving up to Heritage or Outer Banks. For a $40,000 car, that’ll turn into $800 or about an extra $20-25 per month. Per visor.vin, there’s 3-4 times as many 2025 Big Bends for sale as Heritage right now. Lots are loaded with them.

I have a new offer: for a 36 month lease 10,500/yr:

Your Deal Breakdown MSRP / Market Value $39,275.00 Savings-$3,720.00 Selling Price $35,555.00 State Taxes And Fees $1,916.97 Acquisition Fee $695.00 Doc Fee $695.00 Zurich Shield Elite - Lease $499.00 Registration Fee $450.00 Security Guard - Lease $269.00 Electronic DMV Fee $14.95 Life Time Engine $0.00 One Year Tire and Wheel Coverage $0.00 Capitalized Cost $40,095.25 Due at Signing $576.00 Payment $576.33

If you haven’t already, I would encourage you to check in with @LightningAuto and see if he’s got access to any Heritage trim. His sheet shows a 2025 Outer Banks under $500 monthly with first due at signing (toggle the up front boxes in the calculator), but for 7500 miles. Upping the miles and moving to Heritage would move that up, but probably not as high as what you’ve been quoted.

If you’re set on a 2026, it may be a good deal. But if not, here’s a courtesy '25 in PA that’s got a decent discount to start. I’d check dealer fees and make them an offer.

Finally, I didn’t see the incentives when I checked Long Island zip codes, but do you have anything in your favor? College, loyalty, private offer, etc? If you haven’t yet, call them to get in the system, and you may get a mailer for a $750 private offer.
