I will be passing on the Kia Sorento because I think this is a better value for the money.
Numbers I got from the Volvo dealer for a 2025 XC90 T8 Plus 7 seats, all fees and tax included:
24/7.5
DAS (including 1st month, fees, and taxes): $3,000
Monthly payment taxes included: $590
No MSD
Incentives:
$11,000 Lease Cash
$500 Affinity
I don’t have other details than that for now.
Looks better than the GCAuto deal on a $75,000 with MSDs. But not sure how it compares with what others have been able to hack! Thoughts?
MSRP is a completely artificial construct. Volvo can assign this a $100k MSRP if it wants to, just like Jeep assigning literally whatever it wants. Don’t put any stock in what the fictitious number called the MSRP is. If anything it hurts your wallet if it causes insurance premiums to be higher.
If you have other reasons for preferring the Volvo or finding that it’s a better car, that’s fine.
That’s a wise perspective.
I think the Volvo is an overall better car, extremely quiet and more comfortable suspensions.
In the end I think I will pass on that deal as well because I feel like the added mass from the PHEV makes those SUV handle worst (XC90, CX90, Sorento…).
So hard to go from my A4 to a big thing to haul the family… I like the smaller form factor.
