Deal Check: 2025 Silverado EV LT $460/mo

Looking for a deal check on this Silverado EV LT that’s been sitting on their lot since January (4 months). Negotiated 10% off MSRP. I have GM supplier, Non-GM conquest, and one-pay lease using a trade-in. Was looking at RST loaners but this one comes in Riptide Blue w/ proper truck tires, not the comical RST 24’s

24mo/10k mi
MSRP $76929
Discount = $69236 (10% off)
Effective $460/month

Leasehacker score: 15 years

I’d say you either take it or someone else probably will.

I bet ya there’s someone already looking for a Silverado EV LT with 120 days sitting at the lot to beat you to it.

Yeah this is pretty solid for a Silverado EV LT (especially a non demo). I got my demo Silverado EV 4WT for an effective $258 per month last month and the closest anyone has gotten to replicating that is another demo WT for $451 per month. I’d say this pricing for a new LT is worth jumping on.

What is the trade in details? Is it something Carmax or Carvana would offer more? Are you saving some tax by trading in to the dealer?

OP tagged post with CA, and CA does not offer any tax benefits by trading in to the dealer on a new car.

Correct, trade in is just to fund the one-time lease payment to lower money factor and save about $1200 of total ownership cost. I think GM does have a $1500 trade in assistance rebate on the '24 model though.

It was $1500 for lease and $3k for purchase for both 2024 and 2025 MY units and they had that trade assistance incentive for a long time. I haven’t checked if they took away that incentive in May, but would be surprising if they did…

Not showing up in my Ratefindr, but I’ll double check with dealer

Don’t worry, in California there are tons of them just sitting around

Did you shop your trade to ensure you are getting the most value? Make sure they aren’t robbing Peter to pay Paul.

Are there tons of them at this price??

Not as advertised.. I targeted older listings on visor.vin to negotiate down.

Good point - the number I used in the calculator was my estimate from CarMax/Carvana/other dealer appraisals. If the dealer doesn’t get close on the final appraisal then I’ll just sell it on my own.

Your deal was out of this world…

How much off MSRP before rebates?

How do you like the 4WT? Does it feel to cheap (since it is a “work truck”)?

MSRP was $81,500 and selling price was $65,100, so $16,400 off or 20% off before before incentives.

Honestly the 4WT feels fine to me. It’s no luxury car by any means but I also wouldn’t say it feels “too cheap.” I’m more surprised by the fact that at this price point Chevrolet would omit the midgate and multi flex tailgate as those seem like useful work truck features in my opinion. Also the drivers seat does not have any sort of height adjustment which was moderately surprising, only forwards and backwards and recline so would not recommend for shorter drivers. It isn’t assigned to daily driver duty so I haven’t really driven it since my 2 hour drive home from the dealership. I’m sure I’ll form more opinions over time but my main impression right now is that the battery is outrageous.

This is the same deal I’m targeting. 24/10 miles lease well with a one-time payment. I have a dealership at 15% off a demo just waiting on a electrician to come out and give me a price quote on a level 2 charger…

The omission of the mid gate was a surprise for me as well… specially in the damn WORK TRUCK trim.

This is one of the exact deals I’m trying to make. But even better I’m trying to find a 25 loaner to get that $5,750 rebate. It’s been difficult getting dealers to drop 10% on a 24 loaner so idk how much luck I’ll have with a 25 asking that much off. How did you get them to drop so much off MSRP? Just through your trade I’m assuming is where they’ll make up the difference?

Is GM passing the $7500 tax credit back on leases?

they use it in the residual value
