I am working on getting rid of the protection package. Tax seemed high so I asked what that tax is for and sales mentioned it is for acquisition fee, which I believe GM financial doesn’t charge lessor the acquisition fee and I believe GM acquisition fee is 695?
Firstly- does that deal still stand, now that the RV went from about 84% in June to 74% in July? The discount of $3877 is decent. I’ve been offered $1750 on a courtesy but seen higher- up to $5500. But my worse discount only had $675 of ‘mandatory dealer add-ons’. and the ones that are higher have more. So- I’d say that’s about a standard deal from what I’ve been finding. However- the payment will depend on the MF- which you don’t list. They could be padding the MF a bit. Accordingn to the Edmunds forum, the MF on that deal should be 0.00113. although the bids I’ve been getting are 0.00213. so- it’s a hidden location where they pad their profit.
