Deal Check - 2025 Lucid Air Pure

,

Hi guys, noob here. First time lessor, looking at BMW i5s vs Lucid Air Pure. I’ve driven both, liked both, would be happy with either. I’m waiting on hearing back from a broker for the BMW i5 lease, but here’s what the Lucid rep texted me today. What do you think?

2025 Lucid Air Pure
white w/ stealth trim
Surreal sound pro
20-way power seats
Dreamdrive premium

MSRP - $80k
Sale price - $63,295 (20.8% off MSRP)
MF - 0.00219
RV - $38,755.07 (~48.44%)

36mo/15k mi zero driveoff
$1010/mo

You’re gonna get a much better deal on the i5 with the broker. Theres no scenario where paying over 1k a month for a battery with wheels is a good deal

Assuming it’s a broker competitive with LH deals.

OP, post the i5 quote when you get it.

This is misleading. Is the car being discounted before any incentives?

Lucid is currently offering $15k in incentives on the Pure.

They are also offering a $4k onsite credit this month.

Do you drive that much a year? Have you looked into running lease numbers for say 18 or 24 months?

I actually drive more than that. I like the car but worried about depreciation and possibility that the company isn’t around in a few years, so I’m wary of purchasing.

Totally understand.

:point_up_2::point_up_2:If not, what incentives are been applied to your deal?

You’d be buying direct from the manufacturer. So there’s no distinction between discount and incentive here.

Definitely do not buy a Lucid.

You’re preaching to the choir. I wanted OP to clarify whether they were getting any specific discounts before lease incentives, so that others reading this post wouldn’t think they could get 20% off MSRP + lease incentives.

The rep at my local shop sent me this over the weekend before I saw that they’re just company wide incentives. It’s the Air credits, ev lease credit and on site bonus. I’m typing with some egg on my face for sure

Confirm with your sales advisor whether the $4k onsite credit is being applied to your deal (assuming the car is available now at your Lucid Center). You can also grab a referral code for an additional $750 off.

Feel free to post in this thread and one of the Lucid owners will gladly share their referral link with you.

You should be able to do much better than that “quote” 36/15K possibly around $750/mo tax included $1800 DAS if they apply all the incentives ( $7500+$7500+$3000) and $4K on site credit… plus $750 referral code.
No DO NOT BUY, just lease either i5 or Lucid. I would steer towards the Lucid if Range is non-negotiable

I pay $600mo less for the same car (when they had the blowout on 23MY and 18mo leases) and still question if its worth it. Get an i5.

24 mo is a worse deal, 18 is about the same monthly as 36, but TCO is best on 36 months… I plugged in their calculator for all the terms and 36 by far better TCO

With the new incentives of $15k plus referral plus onsite plus dream drive credit on the pure Lucid leases are compelling. At around $2500 drive off + $600/mo for a pure or $660/mo for a touring for a 36/10k lease this looks really good!
