I have this offer on paper, but got a verbal offer for $1500 down $277/mo. They are using the Honda conquest credit to enable me to turn in my Hyundai lease a few months early. My concern is EV registration in 2026 being $1100+, so I am trying to register it this year.
Won’t sign until December. Can only hope incentives on remaining 2025s get even better.

Ask for a an offer sheet of what you agreed to verbally, esp since it’s a far ways off from their initial offer.
Why aren’t you signing until December? How many payments left on the Hyundai? How much is the conquest rebate? That comes from HMF and not the dealer, so I’m guessing they’re not doing anything special here… are you still making your remaining payments?
I think that the incentives on remaining 2025s will be better in December. If not, I’ll find an alternative or see if I can pass the dealer’s offer to someone else. Conquest rebate is $3300 “Eligible toward Cap Cost Reduction”.
Hyundai has 3x $214 payments + $400 dispo left = ~$1000 to turn in the lease today assuming no “Excess wear and tear” fees. So the Honda would effectively be $2500 total out of pocket. Total lease term 277*36 = $9972+$2500 = $12472 / 36 = $346 effective monthly.
