Deal Check: 2025 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport AWD

Hi Leasehackr Community,

I’m considering purchasing a Honda CR-V and would love some feedback on the deal I’ve been offered. Here are the details:

  • MSRP: $37,200

  • Selling Price: $36,305

  • Doc Fee: $699

  • Etch Fee: $499

  • DMV Fee: $444.70

  • Tax: $2,485.08

The total cost comes to $40,432.78.

Do you think this is a good deal, or is there room for negotiation? Any tips on how to negotiate better?

Thanks in advance for your insights!

What is the MSRP?

it says $37,200 on the dealers website

All I can say is good luck with it. We had a 2023 Hybrid and it was garbage. Eventually we sold it to a local dealer instead of doing the lemon law. Made a nice equity off it. I think we kept it 8 months? Make sure to research the issues on them. I know they finally started recalling them for the steering issue (which ours had but Honda refused to fix at the time). Nothing like driving 70 on the highway and the steering wheel becomes almost impossible to turn! Hopefully the 25s fixed the issues because it was a nice little CUV.

This is not a good deal in my opinion. You would be better off buying as the lame discount is eaten up by the Acq fee and dealer add-on.

The thank you for your input I agree
It’s just difficult to know what an actual price for a vehicle is
Thank you

You need to make offers.

OTD price = $3,000 off MSRP plus 6.625% tax plus $400 DMV.

Also we never even got close to EPA ratings. I think we averaged 38mpg. Still great, but definitely less than it said. Like I said ours had a lot of issues, but I hope they fixed them for 25. We could never use the Bluetooth in it either. Would cause loud static on the other persons phone.

Not trying to scare you off, just look into if any of the issues were fixed. Think there is several recalls finally on the 23. Like I said hopefully everything is fixed on the 25s.

We enjoyed it when we didn’t have issues. Handled great for what it was, had some pep and well equipped for the price.

I do agree you can do much better on the price though. Don’t pay for any dealer add-ons.

Good luck to you.
