Deal check: 2025 Chevy Equinox EV 24 / 12k | $4144 one pay

Well this 2024 unit sold before I could agree on a number with the dealer. These Equinox’s are selling really fast! Thanks to everyone who provided their input. I used all the valuable advice to propose this deal instead but this time with a local dealer in DFW and for a 2025 rather than a 2024 which I hope to sign on Monday.

Using the amazing knowledge learned here, I emailed an offer to a Chevy internet sales manager in DFW - one-pay $3,236 on a 2025 Equinox EV with Convenience Package 1 for 24/12k.

Within a few hours, he’d countered with a best and final offer via email of $4,144 which I accepted shortly thereafter. I don’t have a detailed breakdown from the dealership of how they arrived at that number, so assuming the LH calculator will look like this.

LEASEHACKR

CALCULATOR | LEASEHACKR

Discounts / Rebates assumed that I qualify for: $4,750 total

  1. Feb lease cash allowance on 2025 LT trim: $1750
  2. Conquest [Non GMC 2011 or later]: $1500
  3. GM Supplier: $1000
  4. GM new credit card: $500 [with min $1000 down at time of lease]

Seems like a good deal compared to what I’ve seen so far in LH for TX in 2025 across Marketplace, Signed and Signed Deals & Tips.

Am planning to sign this on Monday and put the entire amount on the new GM credit card. Would appreciate thoughts of experienced hackers on this deal.

Also suggestions on getting a good deal on my trade-in? It’s a 20 yr old car in only “average” shape at best. Usually dealers lowball trade-in values.

Thanks @anique for sharing List of places to sell or value your car online - will start with that.
