Hi all - looking to lease my first vehicle and would really appreciate your input before I commit!
24mo/10k, 3k down
Market Value Selling Price: $64,754
Total savings: $7,500
Adjusted price: 57,254
Doc fee: 849.00
Non tax fee: 16.50
Balance: 58,119.50
MF: 0.0011
RV (based on LeaseMax/Edmunds) 75%
Monthly payment: 418
From what I can tell, the “savings” are:
3000 Lease allowance
3000 Loaner vehicle
1500 conquest
Would appreciate some feedback - when discussing the price the money factor came back substantially lower and dropped the initial quote from ~492 to ~418. I feel like they can budge on MSRP, but not sure.
I’ll ask for a breakdown, but my understanding from the salesmen is 3k is from dealer discounts, 3 from cap cost reduction and then conquest rebate if that makes sense?
Nada, coming from an '07 Silverado. I’ll get the conquest because I’ve a '22 Telluride, and was too late on the Costco unfortunately. (Nearest one from me is roughly an hour away)
Dunno if this is the best they can do or if I’ll be pushing it by asking them to come off MSRP a bit.
Yeah, this looks right if the deal is $3k dealer discount plus the $3k Lease Cash Allowance for it being a Courtesy Vehicle plus $1500 Conquest and your $3000 down. (Try to avoid putting money down if you can!)
I would make sure you didn’t qualify for any of the many, other incentives, and then maybe ask for a larger dealer discount, or ask if they’ll waive the acquisition fee. It’s possible they may already not be including the acquisition fee, but your quote is obviously missing a lot of the numbers.
Regarding incentives, Check this thread if you haven’t already. Teacher, healthcare worker, military, first responder could work for you, even if it’s someone in your household (or maybe family?). Know anyone who works for any company that could possible do any business with GM? You might be able to get the GM Supplier discount. Type in the company names here and see if it comes up… there are way more companies that qualify for this than most people think. That one can definitely be shared with friends/family.
In a quick search around my area using the GM Inventory Tool, I found several dealers advertising discounts of much more than $3000 on the SS, though not many Courtesy Vehicles. If you find your vehicle on that inventory tool, you might be able to see if there are any regional incentives that apply by walking through the Buy Your Way tool and seeing if anything shows up when you click “Edit” next to the Lease offer they show you. The tax/title etc will likely be wrong, so ignore those actual offers, but it could show you some other regional incentives that we haven’t nailed down yet in that other thread.
I just got an LT AWD with the help of LH, so I thought I’d try to offer some guidance. Hope this helps!
Those deals seem real good. I have a current offer for 800/month 24 months 12K a year. Other best deal was 686 month same terms but that car had summer tires which I would need to change in winter so thats another almost 2 grand. I have had dealers walk away saying the best they can give me is almost 1000 month with nothing down.
lol. Those numbers are horrible. You are obviously doing something incredibly wrong when contacting the dealers. Read around on what email, numbers, and offer to send to the dealer. Remember you are sending them an offer not the other way around. Word the email such that you either get a Yes or No answer.
I have gotten leases by texting “I have a $4.8k one-pay offer from elsewhere. Can you beat that?” and it was done.
