Deal check 2025 Chevrolet Traverse LT lease

,

Looking for thoughts on this lease deal I was presented yesterday

2025 Chevrolet Traverse LT
MSRP $43,695
Dealer Discount - 1,004
Selling price $42,691
Down $2000 plus $300 (DMV, title) and first month payment $555 Total = 2855
Monthly Payment $555
Money factor 0.0022
Residual $28,401
10K miles per year, 36 months
Zip code 11365

What you all think?

Thank you!

Which is how much?

DMV and title is $275 and first month payment is $555

No idea what these are going for but $1000 dealer discount seems incredibly weak. Do you qualify for educator, nurse, first responder etc for an additional $500 incentive from Chevy? Verify the money factor isn’t jacked up either. How many miles/months is this lease for?

I don’t qualify for educator, nurse, first responder. Money factor they said was 0.0022.
10K miles per year. 36 months

It looks like you’re going into this blind without knowing the relevant info. Reset your search and make offers to dealerships.

I’m looking for what should be the optimum down and per month payment for this SUV. Sorry I’m new to leasing. This was the least offer I have got so far all the other offers that I got were above $600 per month. Need some help from the fellow member to make the right decision on the lease.
Thanks

I think the first question is what vehicle(s) have the best lease programs in this segment.

You want it, get it. Try asking for another $1000. If not, you still want it get it

I like this SUV but just wanted to make sure I’m getting a good deal and not over paying. Thanks

Any good suggestion/advise on this car lease ?

I don’t see the Traverse mentioned here much (at all). Have you done a search through the Marketplace or Signed Deals & Tips to see if there are any deals posted there (to compare to yours)?

Do you have Costco Membership for GM?

I checked Marketplace and Signed Deals & Tips not able to find Traverse over there

I don’t have Costco membership. Dealer was saying if I apply for GM credit card that will save me $500. I have got that discount. I checked on Costcoauto.com the GM offer through costco is only for select GM electric vehicles. Traverse is not on that list.

This doesn’t appear to be a GM Financial lease, do you know what bank this is through?

Dealer said it will be through local credit union as credit unions offer better rates than GM Financials as per dealer.

That does appear to be the case, although the 24 month GM Financial program has a higher residual that might be worth looking into, if you could get a big enough discount on the car. I believe it’s a newly redesigned model for this year so it may be more difficult to do so. Do you qualify for lease loyalty or conquest? There also appears to be a $2,000 targeted private offer available for the Traverse but I’m not sure how you might get it. Browsing the Chevy website, building and pricing, searching inventory, etc may trigger a pop-up or form you could fill out. It’s worth a shot.

Took a bit of digging, but I found one from last month:

My 1st question would be, is this the SUV you have your heart set on? My 2nd question is how far away from your zip code have you reached out? If the answer to my 1st question is no, there are other vehicles in this segment that have much better lease programs (pathfinders QX60s). Have you reached out to any brokers?
