Deal Check: 2025 Cadillac Lyriq Sport 2 AWD

Hey all,

Thank you for stopping by to lend some help!

My gf and I are first timers into the leasing world. We are currently working on a deal for a 2025 Cadillac Lyriq Sport 2 AWD 36m/10,000 miles in WA state. Looking to get into the ~$500 range. Wanting to know what else we could work on to get the payment down to that. What areas should we strive to get that price down? MSD? Pay tax and license upfront? Also, we didn’t lead with any trade-ins but could have two with the right buyouts. Showing aggressiveness with the dealership by signing today with them. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Here are the current numbers:
Sale Price: $64,850
Rebates: $2,000
Total: $62,850

RV: $50,195
Down Payment: $0
Base Payment: $733.17

This offer doesn’t even include a dealer discount. Search here to find similar vehicles, come up with a target deal using the lease calculator, and send it to any dealers that have what you want. You’ll get a lot of people who say “no,” so just move on to the next one. Signed Deals & Tips - Leasehackr Forum

Barring that, hire a broker.

Signing a garbage deal is showing aggressiveness?

Nobody here would touch that with a 10’ pole.

Oh I know! That’s why I am looking for some insight.

Post your target deal here in the form of a LH calculator link.

Even what JeepFamily posted is what we are looking for but in the form of a 36m/10,000 miles. Hopefully the calculator information is what you are looking for. I put in all of the information they have provided so far. The sales manager is supposed to be working on a new deal for us but is saying the general sales manager might be “tapped out”.

What is the 18% discount based on?

What rebates do you qualify for?

The discount isn’t based on anything. I was just showing the monthly we wanted to get to, I just don’t know how to get there. The dealership said we qualify for conquest (owning a Toyota) and that’s it.We aren’t opposed to having money DAS but also don’t want to get taken advantage of. Especially when we can see deals happening all over.

They are down to the sale price listed above from the $69k MSRP.

You might have better luck either trying for a 2024, a loaner, or both.

It also might really save you a lot of money to hire a broker who is familiar with the process.

Yeah, that’s true! I wanted the experience so that I have the knowledge going forward. They got back to with a $500 discount. So total after the rebate is $62,350.

I think if you want to do it yourself, and get the experience, your best bet is to look through signed deals and craft a deal similar to that in the calculator.Go to someplace like cargurus.com and look for every target vehicle within X number of miles. Find the ones you like and send your offer directly to the sales manager’s email which you can get by visiting most dealerships’ websites.

What was the selling price of the other deals you saw?
