Demo unit with about 1200 miles. Gotten the sale price to just above $62k, but full MSRP listed in title. I still think there is room here. Waiting to hear on MF and cap reduction. I don’t think there are any rebates for me although I should ask about Costco and any other dealer discounts. Currently have an Audi and Infiniti at home (likely trading in Infiniti but not mentioning yet). Been working on this for a few days now.
MSRP/Retail $64,510.00
Selling Price $62,633
Rebate $6,000.00
Government Fee $351.00
Proc/Doc Fee $367.70
Gross Cap Cost $62,979
Cash Cap Reduction $2,995.00
Cap Cost Reduction $8,995.00
Adjusted Cap Cost $53,984
Paid by Customer $4,898
Feel like this is a pretty good deal but seeking insight from the experts. It’s a lot due at signing after tax, title, license. Effective rate is $529/mo.
Question: Where else do I have room to work this? What other questions should I be asking? At what point do I mention my trade-in? I have a 2019 infiniti qx60 luxe with 40k miles. $23k from Carvana.
Once you finalize pricing on this to a level you like, then negotiate the trade separately, they might be able to beat CVNA, and then cut a bit off the lyriq as well since they’ll make money on your used car
But I wouldn’t risk trying it (mentioning trade) without finalizing pricing to a level you’re happy with.
So this looks like 2,995 down payment (cap cost reduction), but your actual due at signing is 4,898. ($325x23+$4,898)/24 = effective payment $515. The deal is meh. Try pushing for bigger MSRP discount.
Thank you. I’m not sure what the breakdown is on the rebates. MSRP on website is 62k before 2k loyalty and any other deals. So interesting my selling price is actually above that number. If I got them to 59k selling, would that make it a great deal? I’m looking for a great deal.
Ask them to break it down. Also, it’s a good idea to sign up to be Super Supporter here, for $10 you’ll get access to current programs which show rebates available, so you can research which rebates you qualify for for yourself.
Most Caddy web site listings have links with window stickers. See if you can pull window sticker and determine actual MSRP for the unit.
Deal is in New Jersey, but opening the calculator link shows 10% discount off MSRP to get to that $488/mo or $398/mo with conquest.
If brokers can offer just over 10% on 2025 models then we should be able to do better on remaining 2024 models..like 12%-14%..what do you think?
This broker is also offering a Lux1 for $399/mo with same DAS in California so I assuming same discount applies here to get to that same monthly since RV and MF will be the same.
Thanks, haven’t seen it for some reason. Yeah, that is 10% before incentives with buy rate. But all the inflated gov fees and service fees negate big chunk of that discount. And it’s new so no additional 2K CTA loaner rebate.
For comparison, here’s my deal that I’m planning to sign in few days: 24/10K, 64.5K MSRP Lux 1 loaner, 7.5% before rebates, buy rate, 2K loaner rebate, 2K conquest, 1K supplier, low NY doc fee - effective $470 with NYC tax (8.875%).
Yeah, I tried getting 10% on a loaner, 2024s and 2025s. At least here in Tri-state area, dealers who still have 2024s wouldn’t even speak to me haha. Best I got within a week was the above, which is like 9% if you go outside of NY with their 700-800 doc fees. Admittedly, I just don’t have the time nor the patience currently to push hard. Just decided its good enough for the color combo I like.
Good luck getting 10% (and I mean it, no sarcasm or anything), maybe towards end of April they’ll be more willing.
Competing offer, although not sure what to think. The same as the original offer but $250/mo. Issues is it’s 3 months before it can be leased from demo. Nothing is locked. Worth waiting for this versus taking offer at hand? This stuff is funny.

$250/mo. So same as the original deal in my original post, but $250/mo. Issue is have to wait 3 months for it to become leasable off the demo, at which point rebates/deals might look different. So a bit of a gamble to wait - no clue what the market will be like in 3 months.
I have those telling me the original deal is a very good deal, but then again if someone is saying they could do $250/mo with same structure in 3 months, perhaps it is not.
That’s a good deal. I was looking for a couple of months on a 25 and finally found one for 532mth 0 DAS 24/12k. Hard to get the good deals anymore in the 25
