Yeah that may be it… you do eventually get some ICE hacks. So in spite of the complaints you still persevere. Not sure what happened to your 8-series though.
NorCal is like a wasteland to try and hack ICE… and I don’t think people here have the patience to try and move a car from New Mexico to Montana for registration then somehow get it back to California for “storage”.
Maybe Gasdoc just needs to register his business to also have a tax nexus in Montana.
