Thoughts? Please advise.

  • Was told that dealer would send me a check for $1000 as compensation for falsely telling me/confirming multiple times that it comes with the 30 min/2year ElectrifyAmerica plan instead of the 1000kw/2 year plan (after i kicked up a stink about it).
  • Should also been qualified for $1000 loyalty but was told that with the free lease protection ($2154) + the EV lease rebate ($9900) - its up to the max limit the BMW system will allow for incentives (sounded like BS to me)

Sounds like BS and hardly anything is ever really free from a dealer. Sounds like it’s subsidized by a meh discount.

Why are you signing a new lease with so much negative being rolled in?

Did you search and look at the many many IX deals on here? Broker deals too? Neg equity is a killer too. Looks like you made the dealer happy if you signed.

Because i was dumfounded by the bling of the brand new almost all option IX…didn’t want to drive my x3 anymore after test driving the IX…need to work on self control but a faint voice in the back of my head kept bugging me to check the deal with y’all… so here we are…

I did check and found it difficult to find a deal with possible delivery to me in UT without forking out a lot of money for shipping (somewhat moot if shipping to me adds an additional $1500 or more to the total cost)

If you haven’t signed keep the X3. Trust me you will survive.

So based on y’all responses, i’m beginning to think that this is a 'bad" deal…not an “ok” deal nor “if you absolutely love the car and can afford the payment” type acceptable-ish deal but “BAD” with all caps? as in, for the love of god, stay well away from it?

Need to run numbers but a 1 minute search found something significantly less expensive…you could have just taken a $100 flight down and drove back!

Even with 3000 DAS plus your 5000 negative eq the below payments are still over 300/mo cheaper.

2025 iX xDrive50 ($96xxx MSRP) (SoCal)
-Mineral White on Black Sensatec
-Sport Package w/ 22" Wheels, Convenience Package, Drive Assist Pro
-36/7500 lease
-$3000 driveoff
-$709/mo+tax (no MSDs)
-$679/mo+tax (w/ 4x MSDs)

Well, if you like lighting money on fire and then burning hundreds more than you had to each month for 3 years, yes, just keep current car until lease end before doing anything. (assuming X3 is leased)

Wise words indeed, thank you. No, actually the X3 is a APR/loan also from BMWFS, acquired 6 months ago exactly and from same dealer. This would be first time lease.

There are many brokers who can help you get the vehicle if you want. Check for Ashley, NYC life, Autocompanion, ICBroker, EVkingplus, HN308. They charge anywhere from $600 to $900 for BMW IX which can help save you time and effort. You can ship the SUV from anywhere within USA if you get a good deal.

This deal is TRASH.

After tweaking the numbers in the calc i’ve seem to have arrived to the $1250/month payment with a MF of 0.000576 which seems highly marked up…

See other deal posted here where the payment is under $1000 a month. You should be getting at least 10% discount. If not, see Ashleigh.

One other thing. Any time a dealer gives you a price in nice round numbers like $1250 or $x99, they are playing you…

Isn’t this worse than the other one you shared with me?

Curious to know more about this as I’m in the middle of searching for an iX and have seen a few “discounts” that seemed off to me

Theres never really any reason to ever be looking at a dealer offer anyway.

If you don’t ask them how much they want you to pay, you never have to worry about then playing games with the numbers.
