Deal Check 2025 BMW iX Lease 12k/36months w/MSDs

This deal is through a broker who is getting 10% off msrp plus the seemingly standard $10,900 in incentives.
I have reached out to one dealer that offered 7.5% off MSRP and another broker that can offer 13% off but for a CA vehicle and the transport would eat up any savings.

The broker is on this forum so he might see this, I hope this is not a faux pas and if they do see it they do not get upset for any reason. We are simply trying to do our due diligence.
MSRP

Selling Price

$822 per month with tax and fees included

$3,372 Due at Signing(1st month plus MSDs)

Question that I cannot find a solid answer for. If I pay the taxes up front would that dollar amount be lost if the car is totaled? We are trying to avoid having any exposure to putting up any funds that would be lost if the car is totaled.
Also my understanding is that the MSDs would not be lost and would be reimbursed. Is this true?

This is my deal.

It’s a pretty solid//clean deal, 10% off, no money factor markup, and a low $358 doc fee.

It doesn’t require shipping either.

I know you wanted more of a discount, and I offered it to you, but same issue, by the time you ship the car it doesn’t make sense.

You can’t pay taxes upfront in WI, they tax monthly, you could pay your taxes on rebates upfront, but yes, you would lose that in a total loss scenario.

MSD’s are refunded at the end of the lease as long is there is no unresolved lease end damage, or, for example, a missing key. That said, it’s kind of irrelevant, you’re going to resolve any lease end charges unless you never want to be allowed to lease a BMW again.

Scott is a very solid broker. With all of the scams and stolen cars in the shipping industry, not having to ship is a big plus

Yes, that’s correct. When BMW does a buyout the MSDs are cut as a separate check last I did it in 2021

Scott is one of the best brokers, and I’d vouch for him if you aren’t convinced by his reviews.
