Deal Check: 2025 Audi S5 PP+ MSRP 71k 699/mo 850 DAS

MSRP: 71k
Selling: 12%off
Rebates: 3000 National + 2000 Costco + 3000 Loyalty
DAS: 850
Monthly: 699 tax incl

Background: Im actually shopping for both i4m50 and S5 at the same time, m50 overall comes with a better value in price due to BMW’s better program.
Offered a 75k unit with 660/mo 660 DAS from my local dealer. And I’m pretty sure there’s room to work on that.
But the thing is I get this 3000 loyalty from Audi I just feel like if I don’t use it, it’s kinda a waste haha. And this is a good deal on an S5.
If you were me, will you sign this S5? Or give up on Audi and go to BMW for their overall better programs…

Thanks for any inputs!

Thank you for the advice Max!
I already taken a look at our LH marketplace, most i4m50 units having deal of effective 660-680, plus the broker fee and 500 deposition of my current Audi’s lease trade in.
The reason why I was considering the S5 is because Audi has the policy if my next lease is still Audi, they will waive the deposition fee.
If I roll in the broker fee and deposition fee into the monthly to have an idea of how much I pay for the m50 lease it turns out just a little over 700.
But yes I do agree that i4m50 still have room to take some dollars down if I can find dealers would do over 13% off.

Would you suggest me to take that S5 in this scenario or give a shot to seek for better m50 deals that will bring an even cheaper monthly?

Every company has that policy.

It’s a ball and chain as much as anything else. Unless you want to be shackled to one company for the rest of your life, make peace with the fact that every lease ends with paying the disp and moving on to something else.

Exceptions include companies that allow a clean exit through transfers such as bmw

I’m actually looking at the same two cars (i4M50 and S5). Was the deal you’re offered for the S5 12% off + rebates? Or was the rebates included in the 12% off? Trying to find a starting point for negotiation on the S5.

What loyalty are you talking about? As per neigbor thread: “Sorry, not loyalty rebates. Audi hasn’t really been doing loyalty/conquest rebates the past couple years.”

It’s discounts before the rebate, and we actually ended up getting 13%!

It’s a private rebate Audi/dealers occasionally send to previous customers and they told me it’s associated with your current Audi’s vin.
I received it thru email from my previous dealer.

Audi ICE platforms are ancient.

You can tell that between dieselgate fines and trying to play EV catchup, they haven’t spent a dime on the ICEVs.

What are the Months and miles for your S5 deal?

36/7500
I do have other cars at home so I don’t need that much mileage

But I agree with Max that if you don’t have the loyalty rebate, go for i4m50. It’s a much better deal, more modern design, more tech specs, and more economy friendly especially you have charging at home. the reason I’m considering S5 is because I received their loyalty rebate of 3000, which helps to bring down the payment ALOT.
If we are looking at their program alone… it’s a meh. Good residual and incentives current month, but that 0.00297 Money Factor…
So i4m50 will be a no brainer in most cases.
