Deal Check: 2024 Volvo XC90 Recharge Plug-In Hybrid T8 Ultimate 6-Seater

I can’t tell if this is a good deal because the money factor is so high, offsetting the discounts… insights welcome.

  • 36 months, 10K miles
  • $82,655 MSRP
  • Adj cap cost: $63,787 (discount + rebate + Costco + loyalty)
  • MF: 0.00443
  • Residual: 60%
  • Monthly Payment: $1,091 (w/ 9.5% CA tax)

MF is high on the T8s, think the T8 Plus is in the 9%+ range (converted to %). Yours is equivalent of 10.6% but could be due to it being an Ultimate and 6 seater. Check the Marketplace section here to figure out the base MF (or Edmunds).

@thevolvoguy - this is the type of “deal” Volvo customers get offered out here in NorCal. Contrast this with your neck of the woods. When you get out here to start selling cars, imagine how much your commission is going to go up!

@ACWK - agreed with JSMith. Search for the buy rate money factor and ask for that rate to be applied to your lease offer.

$78,255 MSRP

For 24/10,000, after-tax monthly payment of $814
For 36/10,000, after-tax monthly payment of $876
Zero money down, just first month, dmv, etc. for $1800

Is this a good deal? I think it is.

Second question - would you take the 24 month or the 36 and why?
