Deal Check: 2024 Volvo XC60 B5 AWD Plus

Will try to get a bigger discount, but am I heading in the right direction overall?

Do you have Costco? There is a Costco rebate for July on Volvo. How much of the discount is rebate/incentive and how much is true dealer discount. I saw a broker earlier today had 10% or 11% off these before incentives/rebates. You’re at about 11% off MSRP INCLUDING rebates/incentives.

This quote includes the Costco rebate and an A Plan rebate.
Costco - $1000
APlan - $500

@AutoCompanion is doing these at 10% before incentives/rebates. That is in the NE not TX. But maybe it wouldn’t hurt to offer 10% off MSRP + Costco + APlan + any applicable rebates. Have you checked Edmunds for current MF/Residual/Incentives for your zip code? Are there sales tax credits on these in TX now? Do you know what MF they are using?

I was able to sweeten the deal a little.
Since this is the new 2024 I wasn’t sure how much discount will make sense.
I did check the MF, RV, and Incentives in Edmunds, and the price includes tax credit.

A 2023 will be cheaper. Find one of those instead.

Ok, will look into 2023.
Thanks

Did you plug their numbers into the lease calculator to see if you get a similar number. The deal sheet still shows sales tax. I didn’t take the time to do the calc myself.

Yes, the numbers are almost similar. (maybe I’m missing something)

I will try to bump the discount from 8% to 11% (pre-rebate and incentives), this will bring me to around $650 monthly payment.

Get a 23. If I’m not wrong there shouldn’t be a single difference between them either way.

An 8% discount is already rather generous…

I started looking for 23, they aren’t many around. Also, I didn’t see a big price change between 23 and 24. (at least not in the DFW area)

You are right. The last time I leased a car was 3 years ago, back then it was common to get 10-15% discount before incentives. A lot changed, so I guess this is the reason why i’m trying to get more.Plus, the lease calculator is telling me that the deal is not great.

You can still get that discount in a volvo :grinning:

On a new non-loaner, it’s nearly impossible to get 10-15%. Especially in the South. On a former loaner, it is definitely possible. Try a retired loaner from Crest. I think you’ll have the most success there. Pretty sure I read on another forum they were being super aggressive with pricing.

Tax free states and no title/reg fees…Where is that at?

Get urself a 23 loaner under 3K miles, put full MSD, you will be in low 6’s with just 1st month due

36/12k

Thats so the OP can put his own tax rate and dmv in. I am just giving him a sample deal to work with,

Let me guess… that’s including lease bonus that Volvo pays for. 10-15% off pre-incentives is extremely difficult

In TX the incentives are untaxed I believe. You’re also showing 6.25% sales tax. I thought you said there was sales tax credits on these?
