Deal check 2024 Toyota Corolla hatchback Also financing prepay question

2024 Corolla hatchback SE+optional blind spot & wireless charging, financing

MSRP=25633, OTD=25k with all fee included with -1000 APR cash and they offer to deliver the car to my home free of charge

I almost got it for 23.5 k OTD though, they insist that APR cash offer cannot combine with grad rebate and it was originally marked down for -3000 off MSRP and my salesman says it was a mistake and he cannot mark down that much and we have some negotiation and have it set to -1900.

Just out of curiosity, is he really making a mistake or is that just a strategy of giving you good offer and attract you and then void the offer to get more money? It looks really real though he even pulls out the secret salesman sheet and give me all the invoice price and it has max discount off invoice they can give labelled (like -1500,-2000,+0 etc.) I wish I can take a picture of that paper though, must be a really good source for people interested in other models to get a deal :joy:
For the financing prepay question, I have financing with toyota to get the APR cash deal and I do have enough money to prepay all the loan right now. Can I prepay all my load the second day of getting my car? The financing manager says if I do so Toyota will revoke the APR cash deal and ask me to prepay at least after 6 months, is it real or is he just trying to scare me? Because I read from other posts (reddit mainly) that say you should be able to prepay as soon as you want and get the offer. And I have checked with the manager three times that there is no prepay penalty though. Also, does prepay hurt my credit? How bad it is? I am not looking for any future loans in the next 5 or 6 years but I may need to have the house loan after 6 or 7 years, in my situation, should I just prepay and let the credit be itself?

Thanks for reading and any response will be helpful! Hope you have a good start of the new year!

No one knows how good your deal is by talking out the door prices. Tax rates, incentives, discounts need to be broken down to evaluate a deal.

There is no pre-payment penalty. Dealer gets a kickback but if you pay it off early they lose it. If you want to pay off a loan early don’t tell them. If y you want to keep a good relationship with the dealer than wait a few months before paying it off otherwise just do as you please without telling them. It has nothing to do with your credit.

My bad. Thanks for the reply.
The breakdown is like this
MSRP (25633) - discount (1900, about 9% MSRP)- rebate (1000)+doc fee (462) +tax(1820, around 8%).
Any bad effect if they know I am gonna to pay it early except the bad relationship? I probably won’t buy from them or do my service there so I am fine if they hate me lol.

No, just finance to get the incentives and pay it off and don’t tell that to the finance manager.
