Deal Check - 2024 Toyota bz4x XLE - Oregon

I’m in Oregon and looking at leasing the 2024 Toyota bz4x XLE. Here are the details:

Does this look like a good deal? Now that I have these numbers, can I just go into the dealer and show them? Or should I get them to agree to these terms before I show up in person?

Thanks for your help!

Soooo many good EVs out there (and great deals on them too) why did you pick one of the worst?

Definitely the latter.

Mainly because of the $16,250 lease cash. And we don’t need the range. It’s going to be a commuter for my wife who works 5 mins down the road. I’m not seeing any other EV’s with comparable monthly payments.

That number means nothing by itself. If anything it’s the least tax-efficient way to promote leases. Other lessors do it through little to no lease cash and inflated RVs.

Thanks – that does make sense. The residual value of the bz4x is pretty bad at $18,249 (38%).

Where are these great deals? Can you point me to a couple?

Why would you lease anything for 10K miles if her commute is only a few miles a day? Find something that offers a 5K or 7,5K mile per year lease to start. I think Hyundai Ioniq5 base car can be had for under $300 a month.

You can’t necessarily replicate all of them outside CA but the California Marketplace is where you should start looking for benchmarks

Depending on which contingent rebates you qualify for, maybe Equinox EV, prologue, Io5, etc.

For example

2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 SE RWD
MSRP 48xxx
3000 Due at Signing
107/mo
24/12k
Tax Not Included
