Hi - First time buying an EV. Would you let me know if this is a good deal? Also is there any other comparable deals that I should be aware of?
Contemplating between this deal and a $330 $0 down for Mazda CX 30. Just wanted a cheap vehicle for daily short commute.
So the monthly is $300 after $1k DAS plus your traded in worth $8k? This is a terrible deal.
$8K is total rebates amount. ($7,500 EV + $500 military). $300 after $1K DAS.
There are better cars than the solterra.
Have you considered the ioniq 5 or the prologue?
I haven’t been able to find a deal with this low monthly payment + DAS for other EV. I read that Solterra is definitely not the best but only need a car to take me around for 20 miles / day.
Curious if you’ve quoted your car insurance for both of these, and if they are comparable to cover.
Between these two I’d choose the CX-30 even with a short commute. Keep in mind with a Mazda lease you need to obtain gap insurance
I did look up Geico and Statefarm rates and the Solterra is 10% more expensive. Will have to call an insurance broker to get a more exact comparison.
Mazda dealership told me they can’t sell me a gap insurance because I’m military? Not sure if that’s a thing?
Click on Marketplace you can see the best deals across multiple brands.
$8K trade and $1K cash AND they still want $300/mo?
RUN AWAY.
Edit: I see $8K is rebates further down.
