Deal Check - 2024 Mazda CX-5 Turbo Signature

ZipCode : 66051 (KS)

I got a 12% Deal on 2024 Mazda CX-5 Turbo Signature AWD. Attached deal pics for your reference.

Market value: $43,815 Discount(12%): 5257.80; Selling Price: 38,557.20; Pulse: $299; Total : $38,856
Admin Fee: $399 ; Gov Fee: $12; Acquisition Fee: $650 ; Total Price: $39,917

My Plan is to lease on 10K/36 terms. I researched MF at my zip code which is .00129. But finance person came up with 0.00229 (5.5 % APR) and said this can not be negotiable because it was set by Mazda financial team.

Before visiting dealer, I check the lease hacker calculator with discounted price (12% off) and MF : .00129 ; Monthly payments will be like $450 excluding *DAS Fee. Even I have share the number’s to the dealer to negotiate the price saying that I have 9% offer from another dealer. Finally, they offered 12% discount and gave me an appointment to meet at showroom. In email I requested to match the monthly payments as per lease hacker calculator (never shared lease hacker screenshot but I just shared numbers). He promised me that he will try for the best figures and suggested to meet at showroom. After visiting dealer they offer below

12% on MSRP and for 10K/36 Months lease; MF: .0029 (5.5% APR); Residual : 60%
For $0 down 10K/36 : $649
For $1000 down 10K/36 : $619.84
For $2000 down 10K/36 : $590.07

Any thoughts on the above numbers? I have asked to break down the $649 monthly payments with dealer, there is no proper response on their end. There is $200 difference on monthly payments when I checked the same numbers in lease hacker with MF: 0.00129.

Finally, I walked out from show room when finance guy disagreed to negotiate on Apr - 5.5%

Any thoughts on above offer?

Thank You!

Hard pass from me

And the Mazda site lists MSRP for a Soul Red CX-5 Turbo Signature at $42,570. So I assume the “market value” also contains a mark up.

OP, are there any leftover 2023s?

Haven’t enquired. I am interested in the latest version. Thanks!

How does the 2024 differ from the 2023 version?
