Deal check: 2024 Kia Telluride SX Prestige X-Line

Just got this lease offer from Lee Johnson Kia in Kirkland, WA and wanted to get the experts’ thoughts:

Lease: 36 months, 10k miles

MSRP: 54,500

Selling Price: 49,249

Rebate: 1,000

Money Factor: 0.00263

RV: 36,515

Govt fees: 902.50

Document Fees: 200

Acquisition fee: 650

Due at signing : $841

Monthly payment: 660

Looks strong to me, especially considering the region.

aim for more discount off msrp. i just signed on an x-pro over the weekend for 12% off

More discount than $5,251 (9.6%)? Where were you able to get 12% off MSRP? I shopped this offer around to two other dealerships in the Seattle area and both of them said something like: “$5,000 off MSRP sounds way too good to be true, we can’t help you” so that made me feel like i got about as good as i’m going to get…

im in NV if that matters.

@jananth1 looks like you’re local to the Seattle area, what do you think? the two other dealerships I went to refused to go any lower than MSRP…

Not sure how you’re benefiting from leasing, returning and then leasing again vs just buying it.

i want to switch to a hybrid or EV in the next few years, and am not interested in dealing with the headache of selling the Telluride. already recognize that leasing can be more expensive than buying.

There’s no reason to wait on either account. You can get a Highlander, Grand Highlander or similar hybrid today. Or a Sorento/CX90 PHEV.

BEV deals are amazing these days. Not sure why anyone interested in EVs would wait.

i dont care for the cars you mentioned.
