Use all the links in here to make sure they’re not lowballing your trade.

They are on the high side of the trade-in

If the trade is on the high side post a calculator link without the trade equity. You will get more responses.

Words mean nothing. Post all the numbers.

Incentives are taxed in FL

Hey ,curious, why $1441.00 dealer fees. What are you paying there?

they are
pre-delivery service charge - 993
Elec reg filing - 449

So in fl. They charge you to deliver your car? Registration i believe. But charging you $ 1000 to clean and gas the car, uhhm, sorry don’t like it. IMO

FL dealer doc fees (which they sometimes call pre-delivery service charge) are usually $1000-1500.

It really doesn’t matter how much they charge for dealer doc fee if you adjust you target deal accordingly and make them an offer.

It’s only relevant if you ask the dealer how much they want you to pay and look at the discount to compare against deals elsewhere in the country and forget to normalize for the doc fee.

Got a deal check for a Telluride, the numbers the dealer gave dont come out the same when entered into the calculator. What am I missing? I changed the DAS in the calculator to equal the dealer Im looking to Lease 36 months with 2500 DAS

Are you sure about the residual? If you put 65% it matches.

If a Florida lease has its garaging address changed to another state, it allows me to pay out the lender without going to the dealer. If I was to move back to Florida after paying off the lease, would there be issues registering the car?

Are you going to change your address, registration, DL twice to just avoid paying $999 dealer fee?

Thats what the dealer gave me and matches the ratefinder

How do you benefit from this arrangement?

Spending $24k on one lease. By definition a leased car cannot be kept indefinitely and has to be replaced. So you’ll spend another 24k or more.

That would be $48k+ spent over 72m and no equity

How does that benefit you?
