Hello Hackrs. First post, hoping to get some advice on this deal. My gut says yes. Let me know if you see anything I should be concerned about. I am in southeast TN, dealer is in SC. This seems to be the best deal I could find, optioned how I’d like. I’ve contacted several dealerships

The dealership is ~410 miles away. The dealership quoted $1,200 for them to ship. I have contacted third-party shipping companies, and the best quote I’ve received is $395. Does anyone have experience with Yellowfin Logistics?
Effective Monthly Cost: $337.58
Here’s the link to the calculator, however, note that the taxes aren’t correct. TN has two capped taxes on top of a 7% sales tax. There doesn’t seem to be a clean way to input that.
So what are all of your thoughts? Dealership is preparing the paperwork.

I had also found a highly-optioned Rubicon X with half doors, at ~15% dealer discount (before rebates), but it came in at more than I was looking to spend. If anyone wants to know the dealership, lmk.
Looks like a great deal. The only thing I would caution is don’t cheap out on the shipping. I’ve shipped half a dozen leases from various states, and the last thing you want is a shipping company that doesn’t pick the car up, takes forever to deliver it, or damages it in shipping. I’d say $1200 is too much, but $395 is too little for that distance. Somewhere in the middle should be your goal.

Thank you for the advice. That was my initial thought as well.
Yellowfin seems to have good reviews on Reddit and elsewhere, and A+ on BBB. I was told the price was low because they have a regular route that runs through pick-up and drop-off locations. One to two day delivery, with one day notice. It includes “door to door service, full bumper to bumper insurance and all taxes and tolls”.
I’ve also received quotes in the $500-650 range that I’m considering, but on preliminary review the companies didn’t seem to be better. Some quotes were $700-1200 as well.
Anyone have advice or resources on what to make sure the shipping contract includes? Or feedback on Yellowfin?

Your deal looks good, especially if you can get some of those add-ons removed!
