Hey all, trying to get into a new 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee lease, on the Altitude X trim 4x2. Quoted two times with the following:
#1: Stellantis SFS? (12k/39mo)
MSRP: $47,175
Selling Price: $45,375 (3.82% off)
Rebate: $3000
MF: .0033
Residual: 60%
DAS: $1500
Payment: $599+tax
#2: Stellantis CCAP (12k/36mo)
MSRP: $47,175
Selling Price: $44,375 (5.94% off)
Rebate: $3000
MF: .00223
DAS: $657
Payment: $657.40
I have a current CCAP lease, as well as a BMWFS lease.
Discount/rebates are less than I’m used to. What should a competitive yet realistic set of numbers looks like for July 2024?
Any help appreciated!

Youre better off getting a base trim 4xe

No plug-in at work, and I street park at home…
So? Youll get the same or better mileage even if you dont plug in ever, way more power, much better equipment, etc for the same price.
Pretty much the only downside is the smaller fuel tank.

So just treat it like a regular hybrid and get the same or better car for around half the price.
Thanks, but other model advice but it’s not what I’m looking for.
Also: after discounts/rebates on the basest of the base models it’s the same price as the quotes I’m trying to navigate (not half), has an inline 4, not a v6, and has a 14 gallon tank, so not the same “mileage” if I don’t plug in.
The basest of the base models is equivalent to a gas 4x4 limited trim with the upgraded stereo and sunroof as standard. So you get a higher trim with a lot more standard options for the same price.
The v6 is way down on power (like 100 hp/200 ft lbs less) over the 4xe powertrain.
But yes, pricing is more like parity against an altitude… but thats the point. You get way less for your dollar with the altitude.
Dont know where you saw 14 gallon tank in the 4xe, but that’s untrue.

I’ve never understood these arguments, the 4xe powertrain is faster than the Hemi lol

Those are miserable discounts. Get a 4xe like suggested. Faster and lower monthly payment. You don’t need to plug it in.

I feel like I was pushed into an alley and kicked around a bit! (but I liked it).
Ok ok, I’ll play. Here are numbers off a local dealer’s website for a 2023 new 4xe:
MSRP: $66,955
Dealer Discount: -$16,805
Sale Price: $50,150
Trade-In Incentive: $1,000
Rebate: $3,750
Net Cost: $45,400
I don’t have a trade-in, but have a current CCAP lease. Also have a BMW lease. Not sure if loyalty and conquest are available here as well?
With huge discounts and rebates, is there wiggle room in the negotiation, and if so where? Ratefindr lists base MF as .00307, and residual at 61% for a 12k/36mo. As always, I enjoy y’all’s input on these matters before I go to bat with the dealer…
Cheers
Incentives on a 24 are $13k+. I wouldnt waste your time with a 23.
Wish I could just get some help on what I want.
I just posted a car with 20k of discount/rebate/incentive. An actual VIN with trim and options that I want. The same is available on the 2024’s?
Yes, $20k off after incentives on a 24 is totally doable
So put those numbers into the LH calculator and see what payment they spit out. The problem is that you may not get that same offer on a lease versus a buy. It looks like the CCAP hybrid rebate while SFS is passing through the entire $7500. I don’t think a CCAP lease qualifies for SFS Lease Loyalty rebates though, so a new SFS lease may be the way to go. You are still in the $600 a month range even with a 10% discount before taxes and fees.
It does qualify.
Ccap leases are non-starters on these though. Since they cut the ev incentive in half, there has been no good reason to use them.
You still get the lease loyalty rebate on a new sfs lease no matter who your current jeep lease is through, so you dont have to stick with ccap since that one was ccap.

Have you looked in the marketplace?. No doubt a broker could get you a double digit discount before incentives. @Jeff_BeachCitiesAuto @AutoCompanion

Thanks for the update. I was not aware of that. My CCAP lease is up in 6 months, so that is good to know. A quick check of the Jeep website showed $13500 in rebates on a 4xe through SFS if you qualify for the loyalty. There is maybe another $1K in TDM available.
Yeah, no luck - still searching for a dealer that will bite.
@EZAutoGroup was marketing this deal in your area in the marketplace. Better options out there
2024 Grand Cherokee Altitude 4x2 Gas
- MSRP $44,xxx
- $435 plus tax
- Total due at signing: $3000
- Months: 39
- Annual Mileage: 10k
That’s not a horrible deal, i wonder what it would be like everything rolled in?
