Deal Check: 2024 Ioniq 5 Limited RWD 24M/12K Miles $448

Hi all, looking for input on my first lease. I’m speaking with a dealership in Virginia (car will be registered in Washington, DC, so 10.25% tax), and starting to get a little bit of traction I think.

2024 Ioniq 5 Limited RWD in Gravity Gold. I’m waiting for a formal lease offer in writing, but monthly would be $447.89 for 24 months/12k miles. He stated that total cost of the lease would be just over $12000, but I need more details to make that add up in the calculator. What I’ve got:

MSRP: 56435
Sale Price: 53557 (5.1% discount)
Rebate: $10000
Residual: 72%
MF: .00245
Dealer Fee: $899

I had hoped to lower the cost with a one pay lease, but apparently it is dealership policy that no discounts to the sale price can be made on one pay leases – is this a thing anywhere else?

My goal is to get to $10K on a one pay. Definitely want a Limited, but not attached to the RWD – just seems easier to get there with a lower starting MSRP and dealers in the area refusing to go above $3k discount on Limited AWD.

Thanks in advance for the help!

At least not in Colorado, dealers are willing to give discounts and are also ready to do one-pay deals; however, not many dealers want to do one-pay. Getting a dealer to do both with heavy discounts and a one-pay deal will be tough, but not impossible. Today is the end of the quarter, so give it a try with all dealers. One of them might be trying to achieve their quarter-end target.

Headed to sign this deal now in Maryland, just outside DC. To be seen if they try to mess with these terms, but I was assured that this included all fees and taxes, and the details (MF, residual, etc) matched what the calculator pulls from Hyundai. Sale price is $56,488 ($3700 discount off MSRP).

I did have a previous thread regarding a Limited RWD, apologies if this should have been added there!
