Deal Check: 2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited AWD

I am wondering if this is a good lease deal for a 2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited AWD. The car includes a bunch of dealer add ons such as carpeted floor mats, cross cargo roof rails, reversible cargo tray, and a first aid kit. I fought to get these removed and basically said I don’t need them and they made the argument that since they are “installed” and were ordered specifically for the car that I can’t just “remove” them. So after fighting the dealer agreed to throw all the dealer add ons for free. The original MSRP of the vehicle with the add ons was $41,799 and the MSRP I am at now is the MSRP for the vehicle straight from Hyundais website with no add ons added which is $41,090. It’s not listed but I think they also mentioned the car also some paint protection/clear coat that they applied on the car. I attached photos of the lease deal info as well as information of the window sticker. The writing in pen is the monthly payment. And the MSRP is $41,090. The payments I was able to get down to are in pen on the 1st image paper.

Location: Los Angeles, California

36/mo 12,000 miles a year lease

MSRP: $41,090

Dealer discount: $2,500

Hyundai Lease Cash Rebate: $3,000

Residual Value: $24,661.41 (59%)

Money Factor: 0.00259 (6.21% interest)

Monthly Payment: $586 with taxes included

Money Down: $0

Due at signing: $0 (I rolled all the upfront costs such as tax, title, license, into the monthly)

Tax Rate: 9.5% (I live in california)

Is this a good lease deal? It seems a little high but I’ll let you be the judge of that. It’s crazy because another dealer had a 2025 (not a 2024) Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited AWD for $626 a month $0 down and $0 due at signing. Please let me know what you think, and if anyone has leased a Hyundai Tucson recently please share your monthly and lease deal stats etc. Thanks in advance!

Welcome.

There are at least 2 brokers who work w/ Hyundai in California. Check their listings in the Marketplace to see how yours compares (or, if they don’t have a listing for this trim, contact them).

And sometimes the PHEV is cheaper to lease than a traditional hybrid even if it has a higher MSRP.

Also looking to lease a Tucson hybrid in socal. How much was the DAS going to be? I’ve seen socal broker deals for the Tucson Hybrid that were about in the mid-high $300s with ~$3000DAS give or take a few hundred+broker fee. So if the DAS makes up the difference in your monthly then it seems okay. But on the surface that seems a little high to me. 3k/36 equals a little over $100. So if you get it through a broker you may save quite a bit. What dealership is it, out of curiosity?

Just been at the same dealer.
2025 Tucson PHEV Limited
Lease 12k miles, 36 months
MSRP $49,000 + taxes + fees + etc = $52,000
$1500 Down
$670 monthly

I hope you didn’t sign that lease.

Regular gas engine tucson limited can be leased for $500/m with $0 das. There is no way that i can save on gas $120/m by having a hybrid engine and drive 12k miles a year. The math doesn’t lie.

Im WAY less than this on the same vehicle

Or I have Sportage Plugin fully loaded that would put you under $500 a month

Basically Sportage is the same as Tucson. But I don’t like Sportage exterior design and Tucson looks better for me. Also Tucson interior with light gray colour more likely. But monthly payments are way different. I don’t know how to negotiate a price🤔

You dont have to negotiate, Ill put it together for you
