Deal Check: 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 SE AWD SPORT UTILITY

Looking to lease 2024 ioniq 5 in TX. Original plan was SEL. Hyundai currently has $228/ 24 mo./ 12k/ DAS $3499 promotion, but I haven’t found any dealer actually offering $228. The closest I found was $257/mo. However, I came across this SE deal and wanted to see if it’s a good deal. I don’t need 12k, so 10k will suffice.

MSRP: 51,200
Dealer discount: 5,205
Manufacturer rebate: 10,000
Total purchase price: 36,491
Residual value: 36,864 (72%)

Term: 24 months, 10k, DAS $3,500
Monthly payment: 187.81

If I can find a deal for SEL with 24 months/12k/$228 with DAS $3499, Is that a better deal compared to the SE deal I have?
Thank you!

This is before taxes and fees, so the identical deal from a dealer would never actually be $228/$3500 das after taxes and fees are added in.

that’s good to know. thanks for the info!

Hi there. Got my I5 SEL a few days ago. MSRP, ~50K, won’t reduce msrp but was able to get tax credit so 0% sales tax instead of 6.25% plus 10k rebate so total $10.5k with TTL, 24/12k. Dealers may run out of tax credit but if you can get 5% off msrp then it’s the same effect, I think. Good luck. I6/5 inventory is running low though till next batch come in!!

I will definitely inquire about the tax credit. Glad to hear you were able to knock it down to 0%. Do you mind sharing your terms and monthly cost?

MSRP, ~$50K, 0% sales tax instead of 6.25% plus 10k rebate, one pay $10.5k with TTL, 24/12k, MF 0.00286. Res - 72%. Good luck.
