Deal Check: 2024 Hyundai Elentra Limited (Seattle, WA)

There’s a .00040 money factor markup adding $770 to the lease cost, which together with the $499 anti-theft policy add-on negates most of the dealer discount. Any reason you’re going for an Elantra, specifically a $29K Limited?

I’m looking for car (not an EV) for around $200/month plus drive off ($0 down)
Elantra seems affordable, but any other suggestions to look at? Thank you

Depends on how you define affordable. After everything is tallied you’re probably looking at having spent over $9k on a 36m lease.

By definition you do not own it and it goes back with $0 equity to you. Unless you’re leaving the country in exactly 36 months you’ll repeat the process and end up spending 18k+ over 72m on a car selling for 20k plus tax, only to be left with $0 equity in your name.
