Deal Check - 2024 GV80 2.5T Prestige

Hi guys. I’m close to closing a deal on a 2024 GV80 2.5T Prestige with about a 72,000 MSRP.

I worked up the following deal numbers:

$770 a month
$3270 DAS at signing including first month, all fees and taxes.

Conquest was applied in this, dealer said close to 13K was discounted off the vehicle

It is a 24 month lease with 12K miles. Did I do alright? I’ll have the deal breakdown as soon as the salesman gets it to me on Monday

Using the LH calc and desired discount off MSRP along with base MF what target payment did you calculate for the DAS you wanted? Post link.

I’ll do so on Monday when my salesman is back, I didn’t get that part yet unfortunately

Your salesman has nothing to do with that process.

Point is you should do this all on your own. You should know your target payment without relying on dealer.

I won’t argue on that, you’re right I shouldn’t. I had a target payment of being under $800s, and I was told to try and get a monthly payment of max $770

This was just under $13K in discounts
Selling price with MSRP being 72K is about 59-60K. I didn’t take note of the exact amount

I don’t know the money factor or residual either so I can’t make a Calc link just yet

The MF RV etc you need to put together a target payment is available on web. Via super supporter here or Edmunds lease forum. You need nothing from salesperson except to see if they will take your deal.

Ps, the target payment isn’t just a number you’re making up…it is based in reality using the LH calculator and the data you have accumulated.

This should be the link, off by very little need to confirm some numbers though to get it exactly

You can’t have a target payment if you don’t have the lease program.

You can not effectively negotiate a deal without knowing where you’re actually trying to get to.

It is always in your best interest to put together a well researched target deal and then approach dealers to find one willing to do your deal. Right now, youre just asking them how much they want you to pay.

Noted, thank you for that. I’ve been lurking around for a bit here but it’s time I learn how to properly utilize what’s offered

Having said everything, do these numbers look decent on a 24 month lease?

Thanks in advance

You need to separate the incentives from the discounts so you can actually compare deals. Youre also missing a bunch of fees.

Great! As long as you’ve researched and know that is a good MSRP discount and the MF and RV are real maybe double check to see if any rebates/incentives…also you can tweak DAS to whatever. I typically just pay first, dealer and govt fees upfront.

Maybe take another % or two off sticker and use that as initial offer to dealer.

I don’t have the fees offhand, I’ll be sure to update it as soon as I can. I thought I did differentiate the discounts and the incentives, one of the incentives I have - 2K competitive - is under “taxed incentives”. Either that or I’m not too well versed on using the calc properly

This has an additional $3750 lease cash thats captured in your discount based on what ratefindr spits out for a ny zip code
