Thank you. I qualify for it, but their discount on their website was the one they honored without having to negotiate for employee pricing. They have another one that is $75870 with a $10370 advertised discount if you are interested.
I’ve noticed that. On some models, the rebates do not stack if you use employee pricing. I’ve tried to explain I just want to use the $2000 employee cash rebate without using the EP program (5% under invoice) so I can still use conquest and loyalty, but that seems to make their heads explode.
Then I have some dealerships tell me employee pricing is incompatible with leasing, which I know is incorrect. They don’t know their own programs or their own products.
Agreed. However, some dealers are allowing employee pricing on leases. In those case, they almost try to force you to use it. When you try to explain how awful it is, they genuinely don’t seem to understand. Just want the $2000 employee rebate, the TDM offers, loyalty, etc. on a deal I negotiate on my own.
Curious how you got the $7500 EV credit. Everything I am seeing is that the Grand Cherokee 4xe doesn’t qualify for that any longer. Anyone have any insight?
The gc 4xe doesnt qualify for a federal tax credit on a consumer purchase under section 30D of the IRA.
The bank does receive a federal tax credit when they buy it to lease as a commercial entity under section 45W of the IRA, and then they pass on a $7500 incentive they call the ev credit.
No vehicles have ever actually given the consumer a $7500 federal ev tax credit on a consumer lease. It has always just been an incentive from the bank.
