Hi there - I received the below deal on a 2024 Ford F150 Lightning Platinum from a Maryland Ford dealer.
I originally asked for deals on the Flash trim, but those weren’t that appealing, they were quoting $800+ with $0 down. Then they mentioned they had a bunch of ’24 Platinums sitting on the lot and offered this deal instead:
MSRP $87590
Discount 22% = $19750 (huge savings)
48month lease and 12K miles
$773-798 monthly payment
1250 down
20000 saving seems pretty huge. So they are pretty firm on this number. I looked at the forum or reddit, people are getting 500/600+ for platinums 2 months ago, but now seems kind of hard to get a deal like that anymore. Is this a good deal?
The program this month is, overall, not as good as last year, or even earlier this year, but better than last month. It seems as if you are combining rebates and discounts. Break this out to understand what the dealer is actually offering. I am guessing it’s closer to $10K in rebates and a 9% discount. I can’t imagine 48mo being the best term, it’s also probably cheaper to take 10K miles because the RV hit is bigger than extra miles cost. I would quote this out at 24mo/10k and 36mo/10k. Does this include MD taxes?
FWIW this payment is competitive against a Sierra Denali EV, and higher versus a Silverado EV LT, both which have better range.
Thanks for your reply. Yes, MD tax is rolled into the payment and those savings are combining rebates and discounts. I didn’t have the breakdown for that. 10k or even 7.5k miles are better deals but I drive a lot so I’d rather pay some extra for more miles. I will be visiting chevy dealers next, Silverado EV might have better deal.
Ford only charge $0.25 for mileage overage. Where-as going from 10.5K miles to 12K miles is a -1% RV hit. Given your high MSRP, that means buying 1500 miles upfront costs ~$875 but buying them at the end of lease costs $375. Buying the miles upfront, you also wind up financing the cost of the miles (not a big deal because MF is near zero) but then you pay tax on the full amount (thanks MD).

That’s a great point, I hadn’t thought about it that way. Really appreciate the insight!
