Deal Check 2024 Dodge Hornet R/T

Honestly wasn’t in the market for one of these, but this is what happens when you spend too much time on LH.

2024 Dodge Hornet R/T PHEV

MSRP: $47,080

Dealer discount: $37,664 (20% off)

Rebates: $10,000 (SFS tax credit $6,500. Bonus cash $2,000. Dodge private offer $1,000. First responder $500)

Payment: $74/month with first month DAS

What do you guys think?

Honestly, do you have to ask at that price?

OP should get another $20/m off. It will look more LH friendly LOL.

Btw. Congrats. Check the insurance. It may cost you double or triple than the monthly payment.

Do they have more of them?

Oh darn it, I knew I could’ve done better… :stuck_out_tongue:

I haven’t shopped for insurance yet for it, but I’m gonna have to assume it’ll be at least double?

I got the last one at the dealership near me, but there’s still quite a lot of inventory all over. Not sure what they plan to do with them rotting on the lot.

I mean you signed it so not much you can do now. Enjoy your ride and maybe next time you can get a better LH score with Stellantis care added.

I’m in Florida and my insurance is $120 a month for my Hornet(41 years old). Take that deal! Mine is $71 a month and it’s awesome. I have lease loyalty, makes me wonder how much would it be if I leased that?

Congrats! I kind of want one too lol

I was really considering chasing a deal for one of these in FL as well, but the insurance… do you mind sharing the change in cost and what you used to drive when you get a quote?

Well, I haven’t signed it yet, hence posting it in Ask the Hackrs. I’ll ask about Stellantis care tomorrow

Were they advertising the dealer discount? Or was it something you asked for? Is this 24mo/12k miles? Do you know what your one pay would have been?

There’s a new one I’ve been looking at, MSRP $46,800. Has been sitting for over 500 days, appears to be their only one.

Website shows $46xx off for Stelantis Employees, that makes the price $42,xxx with fine print that this price is “Stellantis Employee Price listed. Non EP slightly more.” So basically 10% discount if you are employee, some other discount of a lesser % if not an employee.

Then lists discounts (which I don’t know if they would apply to a lease, or only a purchase):

- $2000 for 2024 National Overaged Select Inventory Bonus Cash

-$2,000 for 2024 Bonus Cash

-$7,750 for 2024 National Retail Consumer Cash

I do have Dodge private offer $1,000 coupon.

Did you propose an offer or just show up and haggle it out? I don’t know if length of time the car has sat really makes a difference in their willingness to unload it. I guess I don’t have anything to lose trying the strategy of “Can you do $$X one-pay for 24/12 months on VIN/Stock Number. Tier 1 credit, New Tags, No Trades, ZIP for taxes. List of incentives you qualify for.”

looks awesome deal, which dealer? how can i get one?

(Apologies if questions are silly, m newbie here)

Take it. Be prepared for it not to fund and they will offer you a check back to you with a higher monthly to get Stellantis to approve it.

At one point I thought there was no way a dealer would offer a no cost lease (I went into offering $30/mth on my Hornet and ended up at $65), then I was in the Cadillac dealer yesterday and he was telling me about his $25/mth Hummer EV lease due to all the employee discounts, etc.
