I know this is a terrible deal but wondering how much of a discount I could ask for. It’s the last 2024 Lyriq Sport 2 on their lot, in Indiana. Right now, they gave me a 4% discount, do we think I could ask for 15-20% off?
24/10k/0 down, they’re giving me $660/mo. + taxes. Residual is 75%
MRSP = $75,090
Dealer Discount = $71,985
Rebates = $4,250 (Costco + Conquest)
Have a trade quoted at $2,500
Total fees (doc + Title) = $273
Adjusted Cap Cost = $65,557.75
Did you ask them for a quote or did you calculate a deal you wanted and this is what they came back with?
This is what I was quoted from the dealer. I was hoping to get an idea of how much off MSRP would be reasonable to counter. Ideally, I’d like a deal less than $400/mo
They are now anchored to that starting price. Best bet is to move on to another dealer and make an offer, not ask for quotes. Very unlikely you will get the original dealer to where you need to be.
