I’ve been searching for a 2024 Lyriq Sport or Lux 3 (for the 22” wheels). Best I’ve found is $76k MSRP, $66k sale price, 71% residual, MF .001837 comes to $790/month with $0 down and $2k at drive off. Not a loaner. This is the best I’ve been able to get. I’m in CA, never leased before but have been studying this site. Is this a reasonable deal?
I should have stated in my original post, I know that being this picky about spec will limit the chances of getting a crazy deal, but want to know if what they are showing me is a decent deal.
Looks very high. Shop for other cars.
Did you click on Marketplace for both Cadillac and its Acura twin?
I looked at the Acura ZDX and the Chevy Blazer and don’t to drive either. The Lyriq is the only one I want, and the spec I want is level 3 with the 22" wheels. I know that being so specific means I will pay more, but want to know if anything in this deal looks wildly off.
1 - almost all Lyrics posted here are 1s and 2s. Lack of 3s seems to speak for itself = lack of hackable deals.
2 - does your dislike of ZDX extend to Type S? There are some deals for those in Marketplace in the $4xx range.
Hi LAK1ngs
1 - agreed. I know I won’t get a deal as good as what’s available on 1s and 2s, but still value feedback on how good/bad this deal may be.
2 - the first car I went after was the ZDX but the styling outside I don’t love and the interior is totally different than the Lyriq. If $'s was my only concern, I’d already be in a ZDX.
Fair enough. How do you feel about BMW iX?
I don’t have specific info to provide, but can you post your best attempt at a calculator? It’d be helpful to know what the lease terms are (24 mo? Mi?), what your pre-incentive/-rebate discount is, as well as any rebates for which you qualify.
Have you checked Marketplace ads to see how your deal compares?
Not quite apples to apples but as far as bling-y EVs go people here have gotten Hummers, Platinum Lightnings, EQ AMGs, SQ8 etrons, RS etron GTs, etc etc for way way less
So yeah there’s no way to sugar coat it, the value prop is terrible
The 3s (sport or lux) will not be a bargain lease. It becomes more of a question about this being a fair deal for the specific vehicle you want. Your only levers to pull on this are dealer discount and trying to get buy rate MF and no dealer adds. How much dealer discount are you getting and how much is rebates?
Sticker is $76.4k and they are taking $10k off total. They are waiving the usual $2k in add-ons. I don’t qualify for any rebates. Sell price is $66.4k. Money factor is .001837 and residual value is $54.5k so 71% of MSRP. The calculator shows 71% residual and .00142083 for the MF, so it looks like they are marking up the MF.
Hi, sorry I didn’t specify that its 24 months and 10k miles per year. I don’t qualify for any of the rebates. They are taking $10k off sticker. I have looked at Marketplace but they all seem to be 1’s. For what it’s worth, two of the brokers on here said I should grab the deal, and they asked where I was getting it.
Since they are taking $10k off the MSRP and no dealer adds, the only place they are probably making anything on this deal is the marked up MF. I would probably take the advice of the brokers if this is the vehicle you want.
I could sworn I saw one 3 when I quickly looked through the Marketplace, but I don’t even know if that was for the SoCal region.
That was going to be my next suggestion.
I agree w/ @valek.jw – if 2 brokers have already said it’s a good deal, then the price is probably fair (if not actually better than fair).
