I need help with a discrepancy between the dealer quote and the LH calculator, and I would appreciate your feedback on the deal. Thank you in advance!
2024 BMW iX50
MSRP- $94045
Selling price- $81820 (13% off)
MF- 0.00090 (mark up- 0.0004)
Lease incentives- $9900 (taxed incentives?)
Tax rate- 8.75%
Term- 7.5k/36
Cash down- $3000 (DAS)
Dealer quote- $749 vs LH calculator- $731
What’s the DAS in the dealer quote?
It says $3000 cash down.
Isn’t that basically a wash? The $595 higher DAS in your calculator with a lower monthly payment?
Looks like a solid deal to me. I’m new on here and just learning and reading a bunch so take that for what it’s worth

Dealer’s DAS doesn’t include 1st month’s payment. Not sure how to account for that in the LH calculator.
Adding $595 to selling price makes it about the same. Then the selling price offered doesn’t match.
I have asked the dealer for clarification.
There’s no reason for the $3,000 DAS to not include first month. That screenshot indicates it does.
Did you assume it doesn’t? Or did anyone at the dealership contradict their own sheet to tell you that?
Pretty sure it does, it just says it’s a 36 months lease, you make 35 payments after $3000 DAS.

I assumed that it didn’t include the first month’s payment. The dealer has not yet responded to my question about what the $3k includes.

What does -563 downpayment mean? I won’t get the cash back.
You won’t get any money back, you will pay $3000 drive off and 35 payments of $749. At least you don’t pay 10.25% sales tax in Alameda county

It looks like they are rolling $563 of taxes and fees into the payments. I’d rather pay that upfront.
What do you think of the deal otherwise?
It’s one of the better IX deals we’ve seen here, at 13% off with no add-on fees, no significant dealer fees and no broker fees. The marked up MF is acceptable given everything else. Your only real decision is if you want to use MSDs. I would encourage you to submit this deal to signed.
I am planning to use MSDs.
DAS isn’t necessarily a sum of several line items. It’s just an answer to a typical dealer question of “how much would you like to pay at signing?” Or an assumption made when giving a quote.
Dealer software is not like LH calculator. DAS is an input in the former, output in the latter.
