Deal Check: 2024 Audi Q5 PHEV Premium Plus 55 TFSI e quattro

Deal is ending in 2 days so feeling anxious about this. I am a 1st time leaser, my commute is 52miles per day x 4 days a week. Can plug in for free during week, which I thought would cover my commute. Gas for rest of time. Thought PHEV would be a great option. Thanks so much in advance on whether this is a good deal or not:

Base mode $62,985
Dest charge $1195
MSRP $64,180
Dealer discount $6350
Audi dealer price $57,830
Trade in $9000
Manufacturer rebate $9000
------------------- Total purchase price $39830.00
Term 36 months
Annual mileage 15k
Residual value 52% or $33,374
DAS-0$
1st payment $512.39
Down payment -$2927.58 (not sure why negative?)
Est up front reg an fees $832.75
Sales tax $1582.44
Trade in applied$9000
Lease payments-$512.39 and if I get Audicare, which I would, it would be about $1300, so add about $30/month.

After reading this forum I’ve heard I should not put a down payment - does that also mean don’t trade your car? Since reading this, this lease deal didn’t sound so great? THANK YOU!!!

Volvo XC90 PHEV is a much better lease this month. Can be $500 with nothing DAS (due at signing…. No cash, no trade/equity, nothing)

Next best are Mazda CX70 and Mercedes GLC350e PHEVs.

You can trade it in, but don’t put that money down on a lease. Take it as a check and deposit it.

Thanks so much for this. I was going to look into Volvo but I’ve been steered away from them. But i hear they have seats that were designed by orthopedic Dr’s (I’m a Physical therapist and hear so many stories about bad car seats). I also have Costco and that particular car is also with a discount.
Hard to find the GLC350e.

That payment seems way too high considering you are putting $9K into the deal. Discount should be higher as well. Look at the PNDs to get an idea of what market value is for these somewhat outdated hybrids.

Sorry, I’m a medical person and not a finance person…what does PND mean?

PND = pre-negotiated deals.

I suggesting posting your best attempt at a calculator. Agree w/ @Wtmeyer that something seems a little off.
