Current lease is coming to an end soon and looking to get into an 2023 S3. I know the 2024 are arriving on the lots in a couple months but hoping to get a better deal on the 2023 if timed correctly. I’m thinking this deal is just on the edge of being bad and not worth leasing but wanted to get your guys thoughts? I don’t think I can get them any lower, feel like if it was closer to $49,200 then maybe have a good deal.
S3 is a nice car but it’s not worth anywhere near $700/m.
If a particular vehicle doesn’t have great lease programs then the only options are to buy it if you have to have it or choose something else.
Your current offer is less than 6% off.
That’s not even 7% off MSRP.
The low discount along with the lack of incentives makes this deal a pass for me. Is the $1k Costco?
Any reason you are looking to lease an S3?

You could wait for 2024s to arrive on lots. Maybe then deals might be better.
Thanks guys, I figured. My original offer was $47200 since I was going off the Edmunds 2023 S3 MSRP/Invoice Price and the great price calculation on the calculator. The dealers MSRP is high cuz of the optics and convenience package, but even minus that its still priced high.
Yee the 1k is the costco.
I’m ready to make the switch from the WRX to the S3. I was thinking about buying out my 2020 WRX lease as well since the equity on that thing is just ridiculous right now and can make about 7k buyout or sell it privately and make some money, considering the new WRX generation is a complete flop. I got a really good deal on the WRX since it was COVID and only car they sold that day and was the end of the week. I just turned 40 and figured it was time to convert like all the other ex WRX drivers lol
Appreciate everyone’s input
What are you waiting for? Buy it out to capture that equity.
Hit up Audi Peabody and talk to John Shea, sales manager. He will give you best offer I can bet. Bring him deal sheet and ask for much much lower.
Do they have restrictions on sales to dealers? Why would you buy it out first (unless you like the hassle, the additional risk and potential to pay sales tax if you don’t sell it fast enough).
No, I lucked out before all the dealerships started doing restrictions on buy outs. If I can find a new lease before my lease runs out, then I will just have a dealership or CarMax buy the lease out (7k equity). If I cant find a lease that makes sense, then I will just buy out the WRX. This specific model (Premium with recaro seats and brembos) are in high demand and it only has 15k miles in excellent condition. I can put this up for 31k firm and some punk ass kid will eventually buy it since the new generation is garbage and no one wants them. I’ll still make money off it with the price I got it for during covid. I still have my taco too that I can drive daily until I find something.
You are in California? Check for a better deal on an S3 with @Samaudibh and @DonnyAudi
Or hit up some NorCal dealerships. Apparently they are more desperate.
yeah, this guy got 17% off on an S3 in NorCal but that crazy color made the deal deceiving.
The crazy color is actually growing on me. I’m liking it a lot more than I did when I first saw the photos.
Check out the RS3 8Y FB page. Lots of purple RS3 rides and many are in Europe.
Glad you like it, but I couldn’t drive the purple one, the green one or even the old school Imola yellow one. I went with Daytona Gray again.
Thanks everyone for your input. I did contact some of the local brokers but didn’t get a response, probably cuz they cant get a deal on the S3.
Now i’m thinking the 2023 A4 45 S Line, might be a better choice anyways since now have a 18mo and 6yr old and can get a better deal since more are in stock.
Figure out between the 3, 4, 5, and 6 (including trims) which has the best programs. You may be surprised what you can get for less than this quote.
Anyone got a good idea on what to shoot for % off wise on a 2023 S4 or S3? For purchase? Gave up on trying to lease one. Not finding much to work on in marketplace / shared deals. Also don’t know if you can get anything at all off ordering a 2024?
Aim for at least 8% off MSRP. You might run into inventory issues, since most S models have limited availability in general. What part of the country are you located?
the northeast
Got you. It might not be an easy task but find dealers with a few S3 or S4 on their lots, and make them an aggressive offer. The end of the month/quarter is around the corner, so you might get lucky.
Btw, feel free to create your own post if you want to share a dealer’s offer. Good luck.
Submitted this offer for the base model with $0 down and total cost as main concern and they countered back with saying they can do total cost at $21,865 but didnt provide any other numbers. What you guys think?
