$1500 in add-ons. If you were to get those add-ons removed, it would be around $9k which is a pretty good deal, now that loyalty is gone. I guess the $2500 in taxes in Texas doesn’t really help this deal, but it is what it is.
I would at least push to remove resistall and nitrogen, and have them throw in the wheel locks. I had a dealer that literally just threw in wheel locks, in the glove compartment - not the key to the wheel lock, but there were 4 wheel locks with the key in the glove box. Tint and door edge guards are nice to have, and it lets the dealer win something.
I’m working on the ID.4 deal in Texas. 3 year/12k mile total cost is $13k, plus $400 disposition fee in the end. But it doesn’t come with the charger install benefit like Hyundai. It does have the 3 years free EA charging but there are pretty much none of those stations in TX as of now so that may be worthless.
I would check with them for any texas lender credits which can significantly bring the taxes close to around 500$ instead of 2500$ . Then it would pretty much good deal.
Dealers are starting to receive 2024 models. Read on Car and Driver website that 2024 model prices are reduced by 4k. It’s in dealers best interest to get rid of 2023 models. So, you are more likely to get a better deal than this. At least ask them to remove all the extra fees.
