Generally there are just two things you can do
Be very agnostic about make/model and choose one of the few that lease well.
OTOH if you’ve fallen in love with a car and it doesn’t have good programs, then find the best loan APR and buy it.
There’s just no good reason to spend $35k leasing a car, any car, with a selling price of 66

I could throw out a random metric like 20-30% of selling price but what’s the point? When the pre-conditions for a good lease don’t exist then it’s all moot.
Deal is average. Nearly $1k/month for an S5 is pricey.
Buy a nice used one from a few years ago. The current gen S5 hasn’t changed much in a while.
