Deal Check: 2023 Alpha Romeo Stelvio Ti

Any feedback on this deal on an Alpha Romeo Stelvio Ti? I’m thinking of asking them of there is a way to get it down to $655/month. Zip is 11715z

655 a month for a Alfa imo is a lot. What in particular caught your eye with the Aflfa?

Looking at the Audi Q5 as well and like the way the Alfa drives better, though the Q5 is a little bit nicer inside.

Below is the deal I have on the Q5 prem+ for 36/7.5k

  • MSRP: 51,700
  • DAS: 4,859 (NY taxes 8.625% + fees)
  • $530/ months
  • MF: .00222
  • 9% off MSRP
  • 2500 incentives
  • 61% residual

Discount is paltry for an Alfa. Incentives are Meh and so is the residual.

Go with the Audi. See if the dealer will do 10% off.

If you’re options are open, check out the xc60.

Any advice on a number to target? Car does not seem to be in demand so I imagine they could go lower. RV, mf, and incentives all match Edmunds. I didn’t realize they could do better on those so was focusing on the discount.

Don’t love the xc60 and was seeing ~same pricing on that but will take a second look

You should be playing around with the calculator. Discount the car by $1000 in the calculator.

Do you like that price?

Discount it another $1000

Figure out which numbers are attractive to you, look at what brokers and other users are getting for discounts.

I would suggest checking out broker deals to get an idea of what discount is possible.

Thanks -the brokers I’ve spoken to are getting around 10.5% off. I’m only about $30 of month from there so maybe there just isnt a grest deal here. Surprising since the dealer’s lot was literally overflowing.

it should get interesting this summer, since they are updating the q5

This looks like a quote for Q5 with 40 engine. That engine is anemic, maybe that’s why you liked Alfa’s ride better? I’d switch to 45 TFSI, find the cheapest 45 TFSI Premium plus (~54K MSRP) at out of state dealer, and shoot for 11.5% off before rebates with MSDs:

Effective $600 monthly. Should be not hard to achieve, considering end of month and current Q5 stock levels in NE.
