I’m working on a CX-5 lease in SoCal. The car is a touring + preferred package, MSRP $29,880. This is the best deal I’ve negotiated so far among LA area dealers. It beats the LH “pre-negotiated” deal by a little bit.
Has anyone been able to do better? I don’t have loyalty.

I was able to squeeze a couple of dollars out and land at $300/mo incl. tax (or $274 pre-tax). I sent the deal to three other dealers and none of them wanted to even try to match it. I think this is about $18/mo better than the LH pre-negotiated deal so I am going to jump on it.

What’s the premise behind picking the CX5 in the first place? There’s like dozens of fungible vehicles in this segment

Not sure why you opted for paying cap cost of $292 plus tax other than trying to hit the round number of $300, nevertheless it’s a pretty good deal for that car
Thanks we pulled the trigger. The reasoning behind the CX-5 is that’s what the wife wanted hah.
Yep, the 292 cap was to put an even $1000 down and get to an even $300/month. I like round numbers.
