You’re no longer comparing apples to apples. @IAC_Scott, like everyone else here, is discussing pre-incentive discounts. Not pre-some incentives.
My understanding is that they also play some games regarding how you choose to finance with them, if you have Tread Lightly or not, high doc fee, etc.
It might still be a good deal even with their caveats removed but there is always a catch somewhere.
The other thing is that Jeep dealers can’t guarantee lease pricing on orders, but given the high RV’s that don’t fluctuate too much, it probably doesn’t shock me that they might be willing to do it on Wranglers or Gladiators.
Correct. They’re were some niggles that I didn’t care for with mine. The doc fee was $500 which wasn’t awful but I was forced to buy $250 wheel locks lol. I was told they can lock in my price for an ordered lease but they can’t predict the rebates when it’s delivered.
They can lock in the discount they plan to give you, but past that, nothing can be locked.
Thanks for the help so far!
I went ahead and asked for numbers for 24/12 and 36/12, Asked for a break down of the rebates, and asked why they’re using US bank instead of Chrysler Capital. I’ll also try to get more off the MSRP before incentives. I’ll Keep you guys updated!
Personally I think you have a strong deal.
How does the us bank pricing compare the the numbers using ccap if you keep the pre-incentive discount the same?
US bank Residual @39 is 69% compared to CCAP @39 is 72%, Salesman got back to me and said the MF for US bank is lower than CCAP.
US = .002
CCAP = “standard MF” / What is Standard MF. no clear number yet.
What is the monthly/das when you run the rv/mf/incentives you got from edmunds for captive financing?
Standard MF for CCAP is .00263
And it all makes sense that your rebates are different. I thought you were using CCAP.
CCAP is $1,500 for rebates but the residuals are better than US. For 24 months, I think it’s 79 or 80%
Salesman said he’s using a “friends and family” rebate he has left over for the quarter… that’s how we’re at 2500$. I haven’t said anything to him yet but I have a true car 500$ rebate on top too
Just heard back on 24/12. They claim ccap mf is .0043 and that my edmunds lease forum’s “standard mf” of .00263 is wrong… this is roughly a 150$ difference in the payment
I PROMISE you that is incorrect. That would be a 10.32% interest rate. Ask another dealer
Never underestimate the ability of a CJDR dealer to mark up the MF to sub sub-prime levels.
Another dealer came back to me with same term, same bank at .00282… way closer to “standard”(.00263)…
There is a total of $2500, if you’re in their target direct marketing program. Apparently Jeep has been targeting me. It gave me an additional $1k off on top of the $1500. Also, I believe USB on a 42 month lease has a rv of 68% and mf of .00105 on the willy’s, 12k. I’ll correct these numbers tomorrow when I have my paperwork if their wrong.
